the video overshadowed the song and reduced it to background music. i get the same reaction with dsbk songs as well, i couldn’t for the life of me remember any of their songs. when i think of rain and some other kpop groups i think of the appearances they made on variety shows.
Oh horrible, damn that was bad, I couldn’t hardly hear the music, which sounded like crap from the little that I could hear. I feel like i was watching a long preview to a drama with faded music in the background. It’s sad, ppl compare him to Usher, who just put out a new song and video that would make this song sound like sh-t!!!!

My wild guess - they are secret lovers ; she’s the mistress of a kingpin and he is the driver cum bodyguard. Wait… hasn’t that been done before ? And teasers we saw before where he got his ears pinched is kinda like a flashback.
Oh, and he’s at his ‘ act cute ‘ finest. I’ve always said that he is a better actor than singer & I am glad he put his acting chops to good use in this MV.
5:32/5:33 reminds of a scene from Sad Tango and the last few scenes transported me back to his portrayal of Bok-gu in A Love to Kill.

Aiiishh..let me guess! “Rain” was hurt by the fact that “HJW” left him for a richer guy who happened to be
“Rain”’s boss (”Rain” worked as a driver for “HJW”’s husband). To cover all those, “Rain” lived his life in a cheerful didi dada way; the smile was so unnatural, his eyes were not smiling, he’s jumpy, etc, and all of a sudden he could turn to be all quiet and sad. Living in a denial character. Then after “Rain” was slapped, “Rain” showed “his true character”, all the emotions and hatred were out. Bloody MV, it’s very Korean!

here’s what goes on. for those non-koreans.
rain get’s a job at a room salon as a driver or some errand boy (room salon is like a call girl establishment where you enjoy drinks with a chick and if you pay more, some of the girls go to a hotel and do it with you).
prior to this, he’s met the girl of his dreams (ha ji won… girl of every guy’s dream, no?). He goes to her place and is astounded that she has such a jiggy pad. He hangs out all the time at her place blah blah blah. she doesn’t want to get to close because she has a secret and has no respect for men.
Anyway, back at the room salon, rain see’s his girl walking into the club and is shocked (a case of “na na na na na na my angel is a centerfold!”…). He is pissed.
Later he drives her around and teases her about the car saying basically. wow some john guy you’be been doing got you this car. why don’t you introduce me to a suger mamma so i can get one of these. during there exchange she says “i think it’s going to rain…” which is a smart allusion to Rain’s come back.
Anyway. after this scene rain is pissed.
he ends up going to the club and beating up the guy this girl is with and then jacks up the whole room club.
he runs away only to get stabbed in the subway by one of the room salon thugs.
The interspersed flashes of the wedding dress etc will be revealed in a later vid.
This is basically the 2 minute version of any korean drama.

hmm…it was so so. The song was great, the video was alright. it’s like he’s trying to showcase his acting skills. I was thinking he was going to comeback with a hiphop song not a slow love song. If you’re going to act just stick to acting…if you’re going to sing, just stick to singing…how can you split up your time a dedication…no wonder people ridicule you so much.

Ha ha! You nailed it! I loved the song, but the MV was a bit erratic and the story line was undiscerning.
I don’t think Rain’s character does it for me. He acts like he doesn’t deserve the girl. And yep..he is acting wayyyyyy too cute…almost idiotic in some scenes.
