Another celebrity is worming their way back to television- this time it’s “Love Story in Harvard” star, Kim Tae Hee.
Kim Tae-hee replaces Son Ye-jin has the female lead in the new action drama “IRIS” as an agent of the National Intelligence Agency (NSS) where she will play the partner of Lee Byung-hun’s character.
Following the basic Korea drama formula, there will be, of course, a love triangle to make things juicy. The rival of Lee Byung-hun’s character has yet to be finalized.
Sounds like a female version of the U.S. hit, “24.”
“IRIS” is scheduled for broadcast next summer. This is Kim Tae-hee’s comeback drama since “Love Story in Harvard” back in 2004.
Lee Byung-hun is part of the cast for the Hollywood film, G.I. Joe.
I liked her in Love Story in Harvard, even though a lot of people say she isn’t that great of an actress. I think she’s decent.

I think Kim Tae Hee is one of the most beautiful korean actresses I’ve ever seen but I don’t think she can really act. I don’t think this drama will be a success. Son Ye Jin, on the other hand, is a fugly biatch.

Such disappointing news. If they were to replace Son Ye Jin with Kim Tae Hee, might as well cancel the whole show. Kim Tae Hee sure is pretty, but she CAN’T act. But if the role will require a mere bobbing of the head, flipping of the hair, looking pretty, flashing her horse teeth & popping those eyeballs, Kim Tae Hee can sure do those w/o much difficulty.

People who love her too much. It is not we didn’t want to give her chance, it just she has blow away TOO many chances given. The producers just made a very big risk in casting her with LBH. A big risk indeed. Every risk has their own limit that we considered a try. But this one is unimaginable. A wrong take producers!

I don’t know why people think she is so beautiful. She’s pretty with great skin. Her eyes are a little too close set for my liking and sometimes she looks bug eyed. Her mouth is pretty but her nose is ordinary. She’s just your average pretty girl. There are other Korean stars who are much more better looking than her.

acting is not an issue of being pretty.. definitely not, but rather of how actors/actresses please the viewers by their acting skills.. “wise viewers” do see good actors/actresses depend on how they perfectly project a certain role. i’ve got more than 100
series of korean drama…ive started some of them but never finish watching them..why? because im not satisfied with the actors skills, for me its like a waste of time. but there are some tv series that i’ve watched several time.. while i was watching some of good korean tv series i did also see the director’s effors through actors projections of their respective roles. so dont be blinded with beauty coz beauty takes the back seat when it comes to acting.
