The sexy Lee Wan (real name is Kim Hyung-soo) is lucky to have a famous older sister- Kim Tae-hee. It was because of her status as a star that his own life was breeze during school in his hometown of Ulsan. On the SBS program, “Live TV Stars” on October 15th, the 24 year old confessed that he got away easy on many things. When he accidentally hit his “sonbae” (older classmate or worker) with a ball, instead of getting beat up, nothing happened because he was “Kim Tae-hee’s little brother.”
Living with the label served him well while growing up but when he wanted to become a star,the actor decided to step outside his sister’s shadow with the new name, “Lee Wan”.
Lee Wan will star in the upcoming flick, “Boys don’t cry” (소년은 울지않는다) about the story of Korea right after the War in 1953. “Boys don’t cry” sweeps into theaters on November 6th. Check out the official movie site here.
