Rumors have been swirling around that Kwon Sang-woo will convert to Christianity for his new wife, Son Tae-young. However, the actor clarified the situation by posting up on his fan cafe that he intends to remain a Catholic.
Is this a big deal?
The media sure thinks so.
But we think this is just an excuse to announce that Kwon Sang-woo and Ha Ji-won will soon start filming their new movie, “My Love by my side” (loosely translated from ‘내 사랑 내 곁에’).

For the last time, no one said Mary was part of the Trinity!!!! ONE person posted a comment and forgot to add a comma which made the sentence sound like “Mary, Mother of Jesus the third person is the Trinity”. It was a mistake and like, 10 posters here have clarified it. So, everybody, stop repeating the STUPID statement “Mary isn’t part of the Trinity” because no one said she is.
Man.
Secondly, Mary is NOT “the main difference between Prostestants and Catholics”. It is much, much, much more than that. It is about many differences in theology, not just one thing. The leadership of the Pope is one main thing. The sacraments are another big difference. Praying to the saints and Mary is another thing. Differences in the Bible (as I mentioned before) is another thing. How Christians are saved through Christ is a very, very big one (Protestants believe Christians are saved through faith only, whereas Catholics believe faith and good works go together in the path of salvation). There are lots and lots more things. We Catholics would greatly appreciate if you all would stop posting incorrect information about our religion.
I just so happen to know that the translation of the Chinese characters for Catholicism means “the great religion of our Heavenly King”. “Our Heavenly King” means Jesus Christ. My friend of many years, who is a Chinese Catholic, told me this.
As many of us have suggested over and over, please read the posts here before attempting to post comments about things you are not educated on. There is nothing wrong with not knowing things–but at least recognize when someone posts the CORRECT information and don’t keep posting wrong statements. We would appreciate that a lot.
“Do only Catholics marry in churches?”
Of course not. But for Catholics, in order to have a Catholic ceremony, we have to marry in a church or a chapel. The only exemptions would be in extreme cases where there isn’t a church available. Like, when Christianity was banned in Japan and Korea, Catholics had to marry in secret wherever they could.
Wow! Ha Ji Won and KSW again! I can’t wait! I loved them so much in Love So Divine!!!
a possible reason if the newlywed couple toped the headline with divorce -religion mishaps “kwon sang woo.. im not changing to christian and son tae young wouldnt understand..”
now that would be great. saying it now to gain movie flick attraction is useless cause thats nonesense who cares?
many of that catholics are ashamed to be lablled as christian because the fathers kept changing the bible to suit the era of new world maybe theyre sick of it because they are dealt with great counfusion and the truth is questionable because when wrong is made right, right is made wrong, what is there for a religion to hold? seriously stop against other religions when they cant unite themselves not even for peace crap means. so leave others alone dont interfere with other business and try hard to be hero. -itll never work.
it’s okay even if he doesn’t change his religion
