Well not yet really.

Apparently Kim Bum’s role as a younger (but not as sexy) Song Seung-heon in the new drama, “East of Eden” is appealing to a wide range of audiences–including the Japanese.

The 19 year old recently signed a contract with the Japanese management company, Glory Group Entertainment which also has ties to major movie production companies. Although his fanbase in Japan does not compare with Song Seung-heon, we are sure that it will grow over time.

Kim Bum will star in (convientently) the Korean version of the Japanese drama, “Boys Over Flowers”, set to air in December on KBS2TV.

Let the Hallyu movement surge onward…
