Top half she looks pretty…but bottom half reminds me of what a Drag Queen would wear. But for some reason…she looks a lot like Lucy Liu(?) with that particular make-up. I don’t know…but something about it doesn’t really represents Boa…I also do think of Boa as a good-looking tom-boy instead of a vixen. I don’t know..can’t a sexy tom-boy image work? So why didn’t they do that?! I’m not going to judge whether it’s slutty or not…but I just wished she’d represent herself as her true self FIRST…(unless she insisted on this kind of image..but doesn’t seem like it)…THEN she can pose in this style right after. But whatever…her or her PR are going to pull out the whole, “She’s no longer a young teen..but a grown attractive woman.” I suppose we complain about her American image because she rarely showed up that way in Asia..If she’s always had a Hyori-like image in Asia, then we wouldn’t say anything…but suddenly she’s a whole different person (in looks) when she gets to the US. It’s hard to take in.

Thats why HIGHHEELS are a necessity. if I wear shorts with some nice high christian louboutins It makes my legs appear longer than they are.
And I wore a sleeveless formfitting dress to my prom. I noticed in pictures that If I was leaning to one side and put my hand on my hip it made it look as though I had some curves!!
It’s all about how you pose the clothes and the shoes. Just because we are petite.
BoA’s heels are around 5inches+ high with probably a 1-2inch platform in the front of the heel. I don’t think they stretched out her legs that much Kinko’s style is the photoshop the whole picture with that one effect to make everything look nice smooth.
Girls at soompi in the what did you wear section are skiiny and when people ask how tall they are they reply that they are only 5′1 -5′3. Heels make a huge difference

WTC is wrong with you all? Why can’t you just admit that she’s never done this before but she looks good. She’s not a sell out! I’m an American and I’ve seen worse on MTV (which might as well be rated NC-17 now). She looks like Beyonce (to me). And we all know she’s not comfortable doing this but you know what? She’s a woman now. I guess everyone’s upset because she has always been a “child” internation star. She’s over 20 and can do what she pleases. I’m still disappointed in all of you. Geez people. I’m not shocked by the sluttyness if it were any other singer but BoA has NEVER shown us this side of her and it’s too much when it comes out of nowhere like this. It’s hot and sexy and she does look great but she also looks slutty and trashy. You can do sexy without making it look trashy and sadly they failed. The whole outfit spells out trashy and BoA isn’t trashy. What a disappointment.

BoA “hating” her work and her being depressed about her career was when she was still dishing out her Japanese singles. I don’t blame her, because as much fame and popularity she racked up, I think to have the same repeated processes go over and over again (recording a single, promoting the single, recording a single, promoting the single, etc.) must be extremely mentally exhaustive and feel kind of like “I have no real goal I’m aiming for”.
That’s why I’m really happy to see her attempt America. When I watch her behind the scenes for preparing for American promotions, she seems extremely lively and energized, and I think having this kind of re-started the fire she had when she started off on her road to becoming Asia’s pop princess.

Boa does not look classless like young women out there who wear war-paint and go out wearing less than a piece of cloth that covers just their genitalia…
If anything, these photos engender jealousy in girls and caution from men because there is an allure about Boa that they can’t describe. In other words, she’s sexy, but DEMURE.
Also, in one of the photos, she’s covered head-to-toe, but many are saying that Boa’s butt is “hanging out” and looking so “slutty”. “Slutty” would be if she were looking sweaty and wet with mouth gaping like Beyonce, Britney, Madonna, and JLo do so well.
