Ok, the situation here in Korea is getting out of hand-another suicide attempt?
T.O.P, member of idol group, Big Bang was rushed to the hospital yesterday after collapsing. His condition is stable and he is on sleeping pills. A spokesperson for Chung-Ang University Hospital stated that the TOP had overdosed on his medication (it’s not clear whether it was cough medication or anti-depressants).
Apparently, TOP was suffering from depression. The frontman never showed any signs since he is known to be quiet and keep to himself. But this attempt to end his life is a desperate plea for help. The poor guy is obviously unable to cope with the pressures and demands of being a star.
We hope for his speedy recovery….and that he receives the proper help and counseling.

it was not attempts of suicide. he took too much meds only because he was sick. he had to work till early mornings and was over working his body. with the comeback they are having and big bang just finish up their japan tour thing. big bang had to work hard for their comeback. it had nothing to do with suicide.

To FIM up above who wrote “no one takes pills for suicide” how stupid can you be? I understand you are pissed at pop seoul for using someone’s incident to gain exposure for herself, and that the incident is most likely not at all related to suicide, but don’t go mouthing off ignorant thoughts, many people successfully take pills for suicide! My friend included. sleeping pills, drugs like speed or heroin, downers, and other various strong prescribed drugs. Mix enough of them with alcohol and you often have a nearly guranteed suicidal cocktail.
Nah…TOP didn’t attempted suicide… He was just exhausted from the new album release and other things related to that.

On another note, Popseoul shouldnt be posting rumors about suicide which are not clearly proven or true (especially considering the internet chat room problems concerning other recent suicides), but that said, none of you can know the truth just because someon said it wasnt, or because he tries to protect his image saying it wasnt so. You know what they say in the business, any press is good press (negative or positive). So in short, none of you can be sure it’s true or not true

This guy’s management company should file a lawsuit against this website. The headline of this guy attempting suicide is just too much and you went wayyyyyyy over board with the title of the posting. You didn’t even find out all the facts before posting such a thing. Checking with other websites, the management company stated the guy did not attempt suicide but fell out due to exhaustion. I’m not a fan of TOP or Big Bang but I do hate it when someone writes a post title as serious as suicide just to get folks to read it. You should change the title of this post immediately because it doesn’t appear to be true. Suicide is too serious a thing to lie about especially when it has happened to several Korean celebrities over the past few months.
I feel sorry for the people that believe this post. Please popseoul. Get a grip.

All he needs now is love, support and understanding from his loved ones. He needs a close friend to guide him. In his present status, he must not even be depressed, coz he’s famous and financially stable. He needs rest and to keep away from snoopy reporters.
