Jun Ji-hyun eyes Hollywood

Junjihyun_1107_1

With piercing red eyes, Jun Ji-hyun (aka “Gianna Jun” for American audiences) will be starring in the mana (comic book) remake, “Blood, The Last Vampire,” slated for release in March 2009. And just released is the movie poster for the horror action flick at the 2008 American Film Market (AFM) event in Santa Monica.

Let’s see if the film gets picked up by big time distributer.

And Gianna is another one vying for the piece of the American pie….

  25. 25 eito_suki November 9, 2008 at 12:14 am

i like the original anime…hope the movie will do justice to the anime, coz it’s hard to beat the original one which i think is freakin’ awesome..

  26. 26 Hero-JaeJoong November 9, 2008 at 1:21 am

Wow she looks really different in that poster !
Usually she often seems sweet and warm, but she look so fierce and cool here.
Anw,i don’t know if she will succeed in America or not,but all the best for her !

  27. 27 Angel November 9, 2008 at 2:41 am

    the anime was really good.
and actually considering that the movie will probably be rated PG-13 and hopefully takes place in the same places as the original it will most likely have english and subtitles for [korean or japanese?]
i doubt language will be a big factor as to whether or not she makes it big

  28. 28 confused November 9, 2008 at 11:42 am

    LoL @ anna

I agree with the “crapstastic” part.

  32. 32 yup November 10, 2008 at 1:14 pm

    3 words:

    Straight to dvd.

  33. 33 yup2 November 10, 2008 at 1:18 pm

I agree! Nothing against her, but the movie doesn’t sound good enough to make any sort of impact for her hollywood career.
