With piercing red eyes, Jun Ji-hyun (aka “Gianna Jun” for American audiences) will be starring in the mana (comic book) remake, “Blood, The Last Vampire,” slated for release in March 2009. And just released is the movie poster for the horror action flick at the 2008 American Film Market (AFM) event in Santa Monica.
Let’s see if the film gets picked up by big time distributer.
And Gianna is another one vying for the piece of the American pie….

FIRST!
WOW! For the first time ever..
Hah, I think she’ll do well.
Scary movies are always a big draw in America’s movie theaters.
she better know how to speak good english….
if she doesnt, she’ll be such a HUGE disappointment….
cant wait
Popseoul is it mana or manga?? And yeah jun ji hyun rocks . . not liking the hair though . .
wooo i like the poster…scary heheh
mana or manhwa means comics in korean.
manga means comics in japanese.
comics means comics in english.
LOL
looks kinda like the girl/asian version of “Blade” lol, but watever, hopefully it’ll be good. I’m dying to watch a good horror/action movie
the poster look nice just hope her English is good so the America people can understand what she saying best of luck to her movie
well, good luck for her!
She is so boring, but atleast she’s gorgeous unlike certain other plastic korean actress’.
Still pissed about her hair cut.
cant wait. cant wait! i love the blood+ series.
Oh God. Another box office failure…
Finally! totally can’t wait for this.

it’s just a teaser.. and it looks good!!
Wow, that poster looks craptastic. Laser eyes is her special power or something.
i tot Saya had short hair??? Just curious . . Jun ji hyun cutting her hair??
i’ve seen the anime version and i am really interested in watching this movie!!!! i hope this movie does well.. ^_^
also, don’t judge a book by its cover.. heehee
i like the original anime…hope the movie will do justice to the anime, coz it’s hard to beat the original one which i think is freakin’ awesome..
Wow she looks really different in that poster !
Usually she often seems sweet and warm, but she look so fierce and cool here.
Anw,i don’t know if she will succeed in America or not,but all the best for her !
the anime was really good.
and actually considering that the movie will probably be rated PG-13 and hopefully takes place in the same places as the original it will most likely have english and subtitles for [korean or japanese?]
i doubt language will be a big factor as to whether or not she makes it big
LoL @ anna
I agree with the “crapstastic” part.
let’s see how this one will do, eh?
w00t!!good for her..~~
gianna????????????
She’s not that great of an actress so it’s a good thing she’s got her looks!
3 words:
Straight to dvd.
I agree! Nothing against her, but the movie doesn’t sound good enough to make any sort of impact for her hollywood career.
