Love_1109_13Love_1109_12

Nongshim Foods (famous for the red packaged Shin Ramen) and the Green Cross (equivalent to the Red Cross) have called upon the big music acts to share with love.

On a single stage at the “2008 Share Love Concert,” Rain, Big Bang, Wondergirls, Dong-bang-shin-ki, SHINee, Kim Jong-gook, 2PM, FT Island, Son Dambi and Younha performed for fans on November 9th, 2008.

Nongshim and fans donated 1 thousand boxes of Shin Ramen. The representative Korean ramen will help nourish underprivileged children in Korea.

Check out the pictures from the concert.

  5. 5 jane austen November 10, 2008 at 10:41 pm

Those children deserve real food, not synthetic ramen.

  6. 6 blue November 10, 2008 at 11:21 pm

jane austen, you have a point, but they do get fresh food. just not as much as you and me. anyway, they should do more concerts like this. one for a christmas toy drive would be great. but low budget more intimate concert. no effects, just plain stage,

  7. 7 kirara November 10, 2008 at 11:23 pm

  25. 25 invisibelle November 11, 2008 at 4:18 am

angel it’s underprivileged, check your facts before trying to be a know-it-all.

  26. 26 demosthenese November 11, 2008 at 4:31 am

    nourishment with ramen?

somehow that seems like it’s an oxymoron

  27. 27 Tan November 11, 2008 at 4:35 am

Actually, both “unprivileged” and “underprivileged” are real words that hold almost the same meaning, it´s just that the latter is more widely used.

I don´t like WG shoes, but I love those dresses ^_^

Ramen might not be “real food” according to some people posting here, but it has the advantage that it doesn´t go rotten as fast as fresh products, which also means it can be stored and used over a longer period of time. No sense in giving people food that can expire real fast, they probably wouldn´t be able to eat it all before it goes to waste. Also… it wouldnt have been a concert on the first place if it wasn´t for the ramen company sponsoring.

  28. 28 pringLe November 11, 2008 at 4:41 am

LOL at top. he looks so cute and funny at the same time. His expression. mosdef the eyebrows <3 :]

  29. 29 soju November 11, 2008 at 4:53 am

    chay = ignorant hater

so what’s the point of you posting here? it has nothing to do with this topic. if you don’t like what i have to say or ps’s “same joke over and over”, then why do you always have to put in your 2 cents? get over it?? yeah. take your own advice next time.

  30. 30 heerie November 11, 2008 at 5:18 am

what the hell is hong-ki wearing??
    nevertheless, love the boys.

  33. 33 guava November 11, 2008 at 5:49 am

    ah………… *jealous* = =”

  34. 34 Korean Ajusshi November 11, 2008 at 6:21 am

Hey, why don’t these rich, spoiled, young brats donate some of their own money, instead of just performing for a charity concert that doubles as their own promotions?

  35. 35 Lina November 11, 2008 at 6:49 am

    @someone
    I couldn’t agree more with you!! cuz that’s exactly what i thought..hehe

  36. 36 Kate November 11, 2008 at 6:54 am

  37. 37 Tut November 11, 2008 at 7:36 am

lol Popseoul, u should’ve included the clip of TOP & JJ talking together. TOPjoong all the way!

  38. 38 rza November 11, 2008 at 7:37 am

Only 1000 ramens? I’m pretty sure if everyone donated at that concert, they would have more 1000. I mean, DBSK, Rain, BIG BANG and others were there… which means lots of fans since their fanbase is large. Yet they only managed to collect 1000 ramen?

    WOW. =\

  39. 39 felisshi November 11, 2008 at 7:46 am

For a good cause …..Rain, always dependable. Ramen is food. Food is nourishment. Body needs nourishment. Therefore, nourish your body with ramen. It’s okay. Beggars can’t be choosers. Besides, it’s contingency food. Rich and poor people in Asia eat ramen. Rain or shine, ramen is good food. BTW, I salute all the artists who participated in this event.

  40. 40 Korean Ajusshi November 11, 2008 at 7:56 am

Ramen isn’t exactly one of the most nutritious or healthy foods - it’s just one of the cheapest.

  41. 41 soju November 11, 2008 at 8:13 am

Korean Ajusshi has a good point. if the organizers only collected 1000 boxes of ramen, that’s 100 boxes per act. surely, they could afford to donate more than that, and throw in some kim chee and other ban chan while they’re at it!

  42. 42 fangirl November 11, 2008 at 8:15 am

    weeee!!!

  43. 43 Mary3lucky November 11, 2008 at 8:16 am

Ramen is noodles they are sisters hahahahha…Usually this food is not good to eat everyday.’coz it will not give enough vitamins to our body. But this would be nice than nothing to eat at all..Anyway,its for free..
Oh!That was a good idea for them to help those unprivileged people…

  44. 44 YIn November 11, 2008 at 8:47 am

No one noticed that you need water to cook the shin noodles.

How can you make ramen with no hot clean water?

  45. 45 jiijae November 11, 2008 at 8:55 am

O_O…. ramens dun have any nutrition at all tho…

    o well~ better than nothing ~

  46. 46 iowes November 11, 2008 at 8:57 am

  49. 49 CHEE November 11, 2008 at 10:06 am

OMG!! Donate it to me!! I love Shin ramen. They’re hecka good!!! I always it them when I can buy them. They’re like $20 a box over here.

  50. 50 vrosemarie November 11, 2008 at 10:17 am

I love them too! Quite expensive going by instant noodle standards here, but filling!

  51. 51 nglillian November 11, 2008 at 12:06 pm

    its so unhealthy
we’re not doing much good to the poor
if all we’re doing it shortening their life span
from the outstanding intake of msg and preservatives

  52. 52 world press November 11, 2008 at 12:10 pm

    Rain - oustanding

    the rest - not bad

  53. 53 .. November 11, 2008 at 12:14 pm

angel, underprivileged is the correct word. unprivileged sounds rude.

  54. 54 luvley November 11, 2008 at 12:22 pm

Rain was super hot! HOT HOT HOT!!!!

  55. 55 The Machine November 11, 2008 at 12:26 pm

I don’t think it was only 1000 boxes, wasn’t Nongshim already donating 1000 boxes on top of 2 for each person that got admittance to the concert? My friends went and each person had to donate 2 boxes to get in. There were a LOT more than 1000 people at the concert.

  56. 56 KingHeeMin November 11, 2008 at 2:31 pm

    wow! how nice! ^^

Dude, post more pictures of other artists who performed there. You aren’t doing any justice to them. One, Kim Dongwan - who actually sings live!
