It’s b/c Asians have a more cyber-lifestyle than most Westerners. Asians use to spend a lot of time on the Internet, way more than non-Asians. So it’s easy to understand why most stars (and non stars, practically everybody) took pics of themselves and put in on the net. And by doing that, you can enlarge your network and turn some of the nasty netizens into your fans.
Not only Koreans, japaneses, but also people in China, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore… they all like to took pics of themselves.
It’s just a trend that Asians love a lot..

hyukie i saw picture of her back to 2002 and nam gyu ri looked the same to me the only different was the color of her hair and her style also i always wondered why many Korean celebrity commit suicide but after reading these sick comment i fully understand because they have to deal with crazy people who hate them and dislike them for no reason
