I agree that she has great stage presence (and she always looks gorgeous and in shape), but her dancing wasn’t as thrilling as usual. She seemed delayed and more cautious..or something. I bet it was those red emerald-like shoes (platforms) that made it difficult to dance. I’m looking forward to somebody uploading the full awards program. The whole kissing thing was all an act obviously man…I suppose they chose TOP because he’s the actor in the bunch (in PV’s and drama), eh? And also probably because he’s the most “manliest”…hehehh.

Hyori’s performance with Taeyang, G-Dragon and T.O.P. was really bad. She made the performance suck! If that’s how she sounds like in concert, I recommend everyone ask for a refund!

hyori does have voice. she must be exhausted due to the performance. anyway its not easy wearing a heel to dance oriite. try doing it urself then. Atleast she danced perfectly okay(with the heel)

We were entertained enough that night. Lee Hyori, Big Bang and Rain stole the show, it didn’t matter who stuck to their notes.

I think every one likes her cause she does: skin-showing, booty-shaking performance, and has catchy tune. but i think i’ve seen better dancing/singing skills.

The BB+HyoRi performance was terrible and would be easily forgotten, that’s why they need to show the kiss. It’d be better if only BB performs their usual and run to the auduince seat and kiss HyoRi there.

Maybe that’s your personal opinion, and I have mine about her too, so I wouldn’t be so quick to call out my “problem.”
Choir concert or not, Lee Hyori, first and foremost, is a SINGER. Not a dancer, not an entertainer, or anything else. Yes, she is all those things, but if you call yourself a singer and have been in the business for more than 10 years, I expect you to be able to at least carry a tune.
I agree with Anna; she didn’t “own” anything. If anybody owned, it was Wondergirls. I wouldn’t rate “best female singer” award higher than “song of the year” or “best female group.”

imHere, I have one word, BoA. That girl can dance her ass off with heels (i.e GIRLS ON TOP) while singing LIVE. I enjoy seeing Hyori on shows like family outing, but she’s a mediocre performer.

hyori did NOT own mkmf. she didn’t even receive one of the top awards. popseoul is just biased. the true owners of mkmf were wonder girls(their performance beat everybodys), dbsk(won the most awards) and big bang(won not as much as dbsk but their awards meant more). hyori’s not good at singing, she loos horrible without makeup and she has a bad personality as seen on family outing. mc yoo, chun hee and daesung used to like her a lot at the beginning but when they got to know her, nobody really admired her much anymore. chunhee now chooses yejin over hyori, daesung and mc yoo are excited when they get away from hyori.
i dont thinks shes THAT great compared to many other singers today. yeah she was here a long a time, but there are newer, more talented girls out there i think….
