Does life imitate art?
Shin Hyun-joon has been personally invited by Choi Ji-woo for a cameo appearance in SBS drama, “Star’s Lover” (스타의 연인).
The actor will be playing the son of a department store tycoon who pursues Choi Ji Woo’s character.
Honestly, isn’t he sick and tired of playing the chaser? He couldn’t let go and hunted down Choi Ji-woo’s character in Stairway to Heaven (2003), and he violently showed his affection for her in the Japanese/Korean drama Rondo (2006). Now there is the same repetitive role in “Star’s Lover” which is set for late 2008 early 2009 depending on when the drama “Painter of the Wind” ends.
We want to know why does he always choose to play these roles opposite of Choi Ji Woo? Is there something else going on that we don’t know about or is it just coincidence?
Probably he really just want to be with CJW in dramas, being a good actress that she is. I love them both. They’re really good in tear jerking dramas.

Both of them are in same company. They started work together in Jo Sung Mo MV. They are good friends. So no wonder. Hey. CJW N SHJ pairing is much longer than one time CJW n KSW. SHJ supposed to be the main actor in STH but he decline and have the second lead instead.
But in STH, CJW n SHJ are together forever. leaving behind KSW.
Look! if SHJ was the main actor in STH, I wouldn’t watch that drama…KSW was very good in it. Love KSW!

I prefered Lee Wan as the younger version of the step brother in Stairs of Heaven because this actor’s was a bit exaggerated, but maybe his role called for it. But he looks better here in the pic tho they both do look kind of like mannequins.

I personally think that the producers/directors/whoever of these dramas just simply liiked the chemistry between the two. Nothing more.

Shin Hyun Joon & Choi Ji Woo have the same agency, Olive 9, so it’s easy for them to be in the same drama. They are just co-workers & friends. Shin Hyun Joon used to date Kwon Sang Woo’s wife according to one of the website before Kwon Sang Woo got married.
Choi Ji Woo & Shin Hyun Joon are just good friends. Choi Ji Woo’s boyfriend is Lee Jin Wook one of her co-star in Air City.
