Well, look no further. POPSEOUL! is here to help Boa has kindly agreed to answer your questions! Just post them up and we’ll patch them through.
Note: We will be selecting 5-10 representative questions for an email interview sometime next week.
Take your best shot!
While posting up Q’s, enjoy the DJ Escape’s remix of “Eat you up”
BOAAAA!!!! How do you like America!? Are you having lots of fun? Will you come to Texas so we over here can see you!?
What do you see yourself doing in 5 years? Still singing, or moving on to acting, or maybe even leaving the entertainment scene?
Where do you get your dance moves from & why is it so fantastic!? O_O
What do you find harder, Japan or US?
what was the hardest thing that you had to face when you first came to America??
Are you afraid that your American debut won’t be a success?
Do you prefer your new image to your older one?
i.e. your image in Eat You Up vs. My Sweetie
lol kool!!~
here are my questions:
-BoA unni, how much is your debut in Korea, or Japan different from your debut in the US?
-What suggestions would you have for other people who are also planning to debut in the US?
-Is it difficult to try to understand and learn the US culture?
these are all for now but I might post more later!!
1. Will you be having concerts throughout the U.S. to promote your album, or will you only perform in places like LA where there is known to be a large korean population? (or no concerts at all?)
[hopefully the answer is concerts throughout the U.S. xD]
2. How are you going to get known in the U.S. since we don’t really have shows like M!Countdown, Inkigayo, etc.?
3. Will you hold CD signings? [because that would be lovely^^]
ohhh~ I got one
-will you appear on any tv shows, concerts, talkshows etc?
How will you ensure a successful career in America after all the failed attempts made by other Korean stars?
what is your secret in keeping your body in shape? like how do you stay thin, what is your diet?
was this image that you debut with what you expected? or did u expect an image you use in japan? (more cute)
dang heres another one:
-have you found a hunk in the U.S that you might think of bringin back to Korea with you?(;
안닝 BoA! I have been your fan since 2002! Anyway how’s life as a singer? Have you had any regrets and what are some things that you would do if you were not a singer?
Are you really going to take a break off your career to further your studies in America soon? I will miss you!!
사랑해요!!! ^^
-Pamela
is it hard to compete with other entertainers who have been born and raised in the US?
1. Are you planning to move into the acting industry anytime soon? If so, in America or Korea, or both?
2. It is rumored that you have a close relationship with Hero of DBSK; how is your relationship with him?
3. What is the most influential culture shock you received when you came to America?
what are your suggestions to kids who are dreaming of becoming an entertainer?
Do you ever wish you were just an ordinary student attending college right now?
What are your future goals/ambitions?
Are you going to use the American version of the music video to “Eat You Up,” or the Korean version?
Do you like the image that your American producers have given you to sell?
will you go into acting later on in your career? if so where would you choose to debut first? Korea, Japan, or the US?
do u ever regret that you shouldve studied while you can and later became a singer?
How have you found working in the U.S with different artists and backstage staffs, and who are some people that you have met in the U.S that has an influence on you and why?
What have you found to be the biggest differences between the US music industry’s business practices and South Korea’s as well as the differences in how artists have to present a certain image of themselves in each country?
The general impression is that Asian artists, especially in Korea, are highly controlled by their labels and management - more so than in the US; do you feel that you’ll gain more artistic freedom here in the US?
In unveiling an image more suited for “American” standards (e.g. a more provocative image than what you’ve shown before), are you mindful of not perpetuating negative stereotypes usually associated with Asian women, especially since racial stereotypes, despite the progress America has made, are still very pervasive in our society?
Next, how do you respond to critics who claim that your single is just a mediocre song that isn’t bringing anything new to the pop scene, and how will you ensure that you won’t just be a one-hit wonder and can compete alongside already established global starts like Beyonce and Britney?
Also, does it make you slightly nervous that even Asian-Americans have had a tough time breaking into the mainstream music industry?
“Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?”
I’ve heard you dont have much time to hang out with friends. so what do you do when you get tired of your busy life and want to have some time on your own?
will you marry me?….im dirt poor and i need the money to buy some crack!!!….plz help
Boa, are you comfortable with your new look? Do you think it is harder to please the American audience than it is to please the Korean audience? Are you taking any English classes or are you learning English by practicing it?
is it a lot of pressure because you have an Korean accent and you are relatively shorter than a lot of entertainers there?
i have two questions actually
1. if you have a chance to run SM at your own power, meaning being the CEO or own SM, would you take it?
2. In the future will you be the next CEO of the biggest music company in Korea? like make it your own label?
are there any US entertainers that you have a good relationship with (friends)?
the first was not complete
i have two questions actually
1. if you have a chance to run SM Entertainment at your own power, meaning being the CEO or own SM, would you take it?
2. In the future will you be the next CEO of the biggest music company in Korea? like make it your own label?
what are your future plans of your career?
not really a question about her US debut, but
Q: Everyone’s seen you in variety shows and talk shows in Japan, but I haven’t really seen you in Korean ones, besides radio shows and a few varieties when she was younger. I know a lot of Korean fans would love to see you in some Korean variety shows to get to know you more. Do you have any plans to be a guest on any of these shows anytime soon? If not, what is your reason?
Do you plan on performing or appearing on any of the popular talk-shows that most American pop artists use as stages for spreading word on their new music? For example, shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show?
While there are many who are not so optimistic about the American breakthrough, there are still countless many loyal supporters who are giving you unending love; would you like to say anything to these fans?
How long are you planning to stay in the US before coming back to Korea or Japan?
BoA unni~~♥
1) What is the biggest change you’ve had to do with coming to America (besides the language, of course)?
2) Is it hard to adjust to the culture and customs of America? If so, what was/is the most difficult thing you need to get used to?
3) How is the American music industry different from the Korean music industry? And how does it affect you?
When is the concert schedule going to be sent out? Specifically, when is your next performance in new york city?!
1. How will you appeal to an American audience?
2. Do you perform differently in front of an American audience as opposed to a Korean audience?
If the debut is a success, will you hold concerts or maybe even a tour?
- WHO WAS YOU INSPIRATION WHEN MAKING THE SINGLE “EAT YOU UP”?
- IF YOU BECAME SUCCESSFUL IN AMERICA, WOULD YOU STAY THERE FOR GOOD OR STILL RETURN TO KOREA AND JAPAN?
- WHO IS/ARE YOUR PERSONAL IDOLS OR FAVORITES IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?
Will you by any chance visit Canada for a concert if all goes well?
When you were a trainee, who influenced you through all the hard times?
are u gonna hold a concert in la or somewhere in u.s??
How’s your love life? And were you romantically involved with Keita Tachibana of w-inds fame?
POPSEOUL! try and get BoA to send out signed CDs to those who you’ve selected questions from…
I’ve heard you’re living here in the states now. Do you find it difficult to adjust to the ways of American living?
one more thing… did they give you a list of restrictions that BoA can and cannot answer? a bunch of people do that where you can’t ask questions about their sex life like whether she’s a virgin or not… by the way, is she? O_O
What will be your musical direction for your American debut?
BoA, What image do you want to set for yourself in the US music industry?
What are the top 10 songs currently on your playlist?
What do you think about the American music industry in terms of creativity/competition etc?
What artists are you collaborating with now or hope to collaborate with in the future?
What English music do you listen to as advice for your singing?
What keeps you so determined and on your toes all the time?
How do you feel having the advantage already having success in Asia and being in a company that highly promotes you while Asian-Americans have always struggled in the American industry?
If you don’t make it in the U.S., you will still have Asia. However, for Asian Americans, they will continue seen as ’starving artists’ in the U.S. Will you feel any guilt?
Why are you so rude and obnoxious to your fans? Majority of fan encounters with you are negative. Is it true you called your bodyguards on an innocent fan backstage?
Email interview.. so will she be the one typing the answers?
Meh. it’ll be interesting to read the answers whether its from her or not.
are there any advice you could give to how to pull off an awesome performance?
BOA, COULD YOU GIVE US A HINT ABOUT YOUR NEXT PROJECT?
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN ONE WORD.
wow popseoul, i’m impressed!!!!!!
my question to boa is
if you fail in your american debut, will you try again? honestly.
When will you retire?
What has been the most exciting experience for you being in the Unites States and how does it compare to your experiences in Korea?
1. Now that you’re living in a completely new environment, how has it been? Are you adjusting well?
2. During this time of pre-debut preparations, what have you been doing? Practicing your English? Socializing?
3. What are your expectations of this new album?
4. Because of the high expectations for your success and how you are meeting numerous international fans, what do you do to relieve your stress and tension?
5. Will you be doing promotions in places other than L.A.? It would have been nice if you had announced you were visiting SF so your fans could meet you.
6. Your single was supposed to be released a week ago, but we heard it was going to be delayed. When will you release the single? Will you have an autograph session?
Good luck to you, BoA! Hope to see you in person soon!
I loved all your Japan concerts.
Can you provide a bit advance notice on your appearances in the Los Angeles area? Would love to see you in person and maybe even get an autograph.
How often are you in k-town?
u love tablo?
..why aren’t you updating your oricon blog anymore?
your japanese fans will miss you!
do you get to eat spicy noodle in U.S?
I love BoA unni~

do you actually WANT to be working in the US?
ChansungSiChuan, will try!!!
- If things don’t pan out in America, what’s next for you?
- what are the 5 things you still want to accomplish before you turn 30?
Hi boa!
I was wondering if you met any other american celebrities while promoting your album in the states? if so, what was the encounter like?
why do you think it’s okay to be a female dog to your fans just because you’re a diva in Asia? I was highly disappointed when I met you, especially being a fan for several years.
Boa how come you sing so nasally? Do they not have proper vocal coaches in South Korea?
As you become more well-known in the states, will you be interested in visiting Canada?
the40- quit being a troll
I got turned down by GD and hyori All celebs have their bad days. MY friend met BoA at Hollywood bowl at the hotel and she signed her cd even though her manager said no!
Why don’t you go back to Korea for a proper comeback?
How do you feel being a Britney Spears clone? Will we see you with a shaved head in the near future?
it seems like some people are trying to be different ppl using different SNs and leaving the same lame questions. Shes not going to care ifyou think shes some diva. If shes a diva what in the world do you think of Mariah carey?
If you become successful in the United States, will you be able to expand more and visit the other countries you will be releasing in like Australia?
asif: lol one good account doesn’t make up for all the crappy ones. Boa must have A LOT of bad days.
-
Anyway, can you (and how do you) handle criticism from others?
have you eaten up Lee Soo Man’s schlong?
serious question, especially knowing how shady things happen in the business
MY QUESTION
Some Asian-Americans that already know who you are seem to think that your future holds failure. The future is unpredictable and you have already have lots of experience. Have you thought about all the possible results of your debut in the U.S.?
And if your debut doesn’t turn out so successful will you try again? (which I hope you will!)
How are you going to balance your activites in Korea, Japan and the U.S? Will you just focus on the U.S. till you find success?
What are your thoughts about the other singers trying to debut in the U.s.? (Se7en, Bi, Min Etc.)
You said you have been lonely through your struggle to the top in Japan. How do you feel knowing that you will have to go through such pain once again? ( since your separated from your loved ones and family)
- WHAT’S YOUR EDGE AMONG OTHER POP STARS IN KOREA AND AMERICA?
- WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF BEING A NEWCOMER IN AMERICA’S MUSIC INDUSTRY?
- DO YOU HAVE ANY REGRETS? I MEAN WERE YOU EVER FEEL SORRY FOR SOMETHING YOU DID BUT AFTER A SOME TIME YOU FELT IT WAS ACTUALLY A MISTAKE?
Everyone has something they regret at least one point their lives. Is there anything that you regret from the past that you still regret today?
- DO YOU BELIEVE IN KARMA? HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED IT?
Uh. whats with the retards trying to make her look like some bit*h? Have you been through the sh*t she has growing up? She can’t be some happy lovey dovey I’m happy 24/7 chick. I can’t say shes been perfect little angel to her fans all the time but your reading old accounts from her earlier years. Then you grow biased and when you read more nice encounters that are recent all you do is question her and still label them.
Have you noticed male singers can do anything and fans will let it go but when its a chick they will never let it go? thats so fcukin annoying.
HOW DO YOU TAKE CRITICISMS?
have you ever imagined or felt your songs sucks? and maybe you really hate other people especially your fans that’s why your song was a flop in the US. tsk tsk tsk! have you also thought that your face and your age aren’t matched?^^
- WHAT’S YOUR CRAZY CHRISTMAS WISH AND YOUR NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS?
1 What American music artists do you hope to work with?
2 What advice do you have for fellow Korean artists looking to break into the American music industry?
im not gonna ask any question but i find it weird with the picture!isn’t it too much photoshop?
-are you concerned about losing your krn accent especially after staying in japan for so long and now focusing on learning english?
-when will you come back to Korea and release an album?
-what is your best experience in your career?
all of questions being asked here are legit. people don’t knock off your questions, so why can’t you do the same?
What music producer would you really like to work with in the future and why?
Are you looking for a ‘popular’ or ‘original’ angle?
Do you plan on completely changing your style or making it a mixture of East meets West?
Did you always (and if so for how long) have aspirations to break into the American market?
What is the most effective way you progress with learning English?
Who’s your favorite American artist and why?
Do you have a particular target age group in the American audience? Are you targeting men or women or both?
Thanks for this opportunity Popseoul…and the signed CD would be so cool if you could get her to do it!
1) Will you send stores demo CDs for in-store play/have events like signings etc. to promote your CD? Those definitely boost sales on a store-to-store basis.
2) As we’ve seen with shows like ANTM and American Idol, sometimes all it takes is enough exposure to kick off one’s career. Will you take advantage of this fact? If so, where would you advertise yourself?
3) Ideally, one would sell CDs using music as opposed to their own person. How would you avoid selling yourself out as ‘exotic’, and using your race as a selling point?
(SUB QUESTION: Are you selling more to Asians in the U.S., or all people regardless?)
do you miss korea?
by the way
i think your wonderful
How do you consider “big” in USA? Like how far do you want to go?
the pic looks nothing like boa o.O;;;;;
hallo BoA,
i’m your fans and i hope you will answer my question
when you can show in indonesia???
i hope you can visit indonesia and make fans conferens
thank you,terimakasih,gomapseumnida,xie-xie
do you have a myspace??
my questions
1. In a recent interview Rain said the competition among 20something in America is very fierce, it’s like IF YOU LIVE I DIE, IF I LIVE YOU DIE. to what extend have you prepared for it?
2. There are a lot of people who try very hard. The efforts alone don¡¯t make it successful. The efforts should be there but there should be some luck involved as well. You want to deny that?
3. what are you gonna do if you fail?
——————–
those questions have been as well asked to Rain. His answers..
1. I was excited rather than scared. I could fail but I will accept the result and I will again run towards success.it is a step towards an upgrade. If it doesn’t succeed, there will be next step. It’s the same with the songs. If I release an album and if it doesn’t do well, I could try even a bigger project. It’s 50:50. It’s always been that way. Although I am physically working here but my mind is already thinking about what I should do in the US. Someday, there could be someone who will dance better than me and have a better (stage) manner than me. Then, I just have to move one step further than that fellow. If that guy does acting, then I will do something extra. (I’ll always find something new and something extra).
2. i’am a bit dualistic in the sense of that (laughing). I’m a fatalist and, at the same time, I believe in making your own fate. There is a book called *Secret, and, in that book, it says if you believe you can do something, it comes true. When you think I have a fate that has no choice but do well, everything will turn out well.
3. When things don’t go well, you could get discouraged but if you think the next step is going to go well, it could change the direction. For example, let’s say, once, twice, three times, you failed at business. But I think you still have one big chance to recover. For anyone (there is that one big chance). There is a saying “Though you dig a well, dig one well and you’ll find water”. It is true
——–
would like to hear how she’s going to handle such questions.
^ BoA sucks_Rain rocks: Why you have to go elaborating about Rain here? There is nothing to do with Rain! Because he fails and you cannot stand other artist now having some spoltlights? You pathetic losers
To Boa,
Realistically, what do you know you will have to do to appeal to the mainstream American audience? Whether it is your music or appearance, what makes you truly believe you have what it takes to do something no one has done before–become a successful crossover music artist from Asia?
Also, how will you define “success” for yourself in America?
Thanks and wish you the best.
as much as i want to ask a question…it seems like all the ones i want to ask hav already been asked =_=;;
but heres one topic restructured in two ways
- What do you dream of achieving now that you are nearly at the peak of the world?
- What is your personal goal in life?
BoA,
Why do u try hard to be sexy? It’s not your nature!
BoA~
What were your expectations when you came to America? Were you disappointed or have those expectations been met or exceeded?
do you take it up the ass? ever been double penetrated?
What do you miss about the most now that you are in the state? Is it the food, the friends, the atmosphere?
Have you consumed a 3×3 animal style along with animal style fries at IN n Out yet? If you have what do you think of it? If not, have you even heard about it yet?
As of now, there have not yet been any “breakthroughs” for the many korean artists who have tried to breakout into the industry? What sets you apart from them? What kind of connections were you building before your debut within the industry
How do you deal with the stereotype Hollywood seems to place on any/every artist/actor/actress/director etc? Do you think you are playing into the stereotype or are you trying to break free from that stereotype?
-Have you planned your future yet?
-What is your opinion about your debut in America
Hi Boa,
I was wondering how does it feel to be one, out of a lot of korean singers, to be able to travel and expand your popularity and activities in America?
also, do you still keep in contact with the people in korea such as TVXQ, and Super Junior, or some of the new groups (SHINee)?
***********************
Heyyy Boa!~
Q:
You being in US, Are your missing Korea?
Do you contact with some korean groups(DBKS?)
How do you find the clothing style in US? Do you like it?
When are planning your album to come out?
Thanks!
************************
I ♥♥♥ u!^^
Dear Boa,
How do you feel about your new image?
Will you be planning a world tour soon?
Hi Boa,
1. How do you see American Market now?
2. Why do you think NOW is the best time to enter the American market?
3. How do you feel about you Achievement in American Market, until Now?
all i’m wondering now the Britney itself is back why would they need her?
so many questoins are the same. = =”
and some people are being asses.
ie:tehtank
anyway…my questoins
BOA; WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY TO EVERYONE WHO PUTS YOU DOWN?
ARE YOU LIKING AMERICA? WHEN WILL YOU HOLD ANY CONCERTS AND HAVE REAL US PROMOTION BEGIN? WILL YOU BE COMING TO NEW YORK SOON? I HOPE YOU DO. ^^
can i have your number? (send it to my mail please)
1. How long are you planning to stay in America?

^ BoA sucks_Rain rocks: Why you have to go elaborating about Rain here? There is nothing to do with Rain! Because he fails and you cannot stand other artist now having some spoltlights? You pathetic losers
——
so?
having some spotlights? who? BOA? excuse me… where? *scratching my head*.. it’s just POPSEOUL interview for god sake.
Rain fails? hmmmm… well, failure is his middle name, in case you dont know that. he has failed since his first debut. even I’m a cyborg was a failure.
anyway if fail mean he recieved best actor of the year award from Cine International Film Festival, the first Asian artist to have 10 questions interview from TIME.com, has William Morris managing his activities in the state, releasing his US debut album next year along with His 2nd hollywood movie, or being wanted by some A-list holywood producers/directors… i’m surely want that failure too. ah one more.. his 2nd hollywood movie made 50 most anticipating movie in 2009, the only movie with asian in the lead.. it’s weird but i’m more than happy with those repeated failures
Pathetic losers?
well, i just love to pull your string, kyaaaaaaa… ^_^
oh god… i have stomach cramp for laughing too hard now! please, dont entertain me further… i really love to do this! ha.. ha… ha…
——-
my questions above is that i want to know how much brain she has, that’s all…
why i elaborate it with Rain? you could ask Boa’s fan by the nick of SLAVE why.
she started it… I’ll be there posting anything i like whenever i found BOA entries related in this blog.
heeeee.. i’m sorry for the inconvinience, can’t hold myself.
another questions non rain-related
1. what is your strategy to break american market other than went to someone’s birthday party, throwing your own birthday party by inviting some D-lister american artists, or a sidewalk interview?
2. what set you aside or what make you really special compare to other american pop artists beside that you born asian?
3. what is your plan ahead? you’re likely to stuck there.
4. why do you love to do lipsync performances? you’ve got plenty to list down.
5. why people know you more as a japanese singer while you’re a korean? they call you TRAITOR for that
thank -
Do you think your race/ethnicity will be a positive or negative aspect for your debut in America?
The image that you have prepared for the US is much more sexier in comparison to the image that u have established in Japan and Korea. If u made a comeback to the Asian stage, would u like/want to incorporate this image into your persona?
When u were learning english, which word(s) did u find the most odd/weird/quirky?
MY QUESTION:
1. What do you feel about your upcoming debut in America?
2. If you would be given a chance to perform with a well-known american artist, who would it be? and why?
3. It is noticable that your concept is now the exact opposite of what your concept was, which is a cutie, how do you feel about that? was there any awkwardness whenever you wear sexy clothes like what you are wore on your recent photo shoots?
4. People mostly mistaken you as a japanese, what do you feel about that?
5. If you are not a singer today, what would you be doing by now?
6. Who is your korean celebrity crush? and WHY?
that’s all popseoul haha LOL. hope you’ll patch at least even one of my questions, cus i really wanna ask one of these questions to her! PLEASE~
thanks! ^^
1. What is your goal in America and what do you want American fans to think of you and your music? Do you want them to stick to your cuter image or accept you with your sexy one? Do you want them to pay attention to your success overseas or do you want them treat you as a rookie?
2. What would you like to say to: your fans who have supported you since before your debut; fans that began liking you during your American debut; influence people to begin supporting you?
3. Other Korean artists have debuted in America. Did you ever ask them for advice?
4. You’ve been to America before to perform. How different does your debut feel from the times you’ve performed?
1. Why America? You’re already fairly well-established in Japan, so why not start promotions in your homebase of Korea (and the rest of Asia) again instead? Even Europe appears to be more receptive of Asian music than America.
Why do you have to follow the popular Western culture and dehumanize women?
are you planning to go to europe some time in the future? maybe after your america debut?
“When/How do you plan on promoting your song in America?”
I have no questions but i simply just want to wish GOOD LUCK and point out that I’m a FAN, Figthing BoA!
When do you plan on returning to Korea and releasing an album there?
How is your experience in America different from the one you’re used to in Japan??…And i also wish you much luck and hope you have a blast in America.

Hello BoA! We know you came to Brazil to shoot the Anyband music video, was that the first time you came to our country? Did you enjoy your stay? What did you like the most in Brazil?
I hope your single and album do great here, Latin America is with you! Fighting!
What is something you had to change or sacrafice to get into the american industry?
Dear BoA,
if your career in USA succed, will you be coming to Brazil? ‘Cus you know, we Brazilians are dying to meet you, but, if you became larger than you already are in Brazil… wow… can’t even imagine!!
Loved your new song, but I hope to see you singing the old stuff too… perhaps an English version of “My Name”?
^BoA sucks_Rain rocks: I just stop there when you was starting to say rain this rain that. Because it smells like desperation. lmao.
And guess I should ignore you just like other people in this page did.
ye, Rain is godlike with his movie “Ninja assasin” and all his interviews about chicken/vegetables.
Why do you want to come and debut in America?
Do you also plan to release your upcoming album in europe?
Are you going to have a tour in europe or america eventually?
after your debue in america will you come to europe?? (specially:germany)
How do you practice and get better at English? (Or, I suppose what are the easiest methods that help you learn English?) I’ve heard people who’ve been studying for long periods of time and you’re still doing much better.
When will she come to the US and show Britney and Beyonce her fierceness! Sassamataz!
1) What hardships did you go through whilst preparing for your USA debut? Were you afraid that the US public wouldn’t accept you and critisise you?
2) When everything in the US goes smoothly, will you be travelling to other places such as Europe and perform your songs for your fans?
3) Are you finding the changes hard to cope with. Food wise, culture, language and the people?
Since you come from a largely homogenous society you don’t encounter racism on a daily basis. Here in America, we Asian Americans do,and I think more so now than African Americans although it is not in the violent and blatant way. White Americans are careful what they say around blacks, but where I’m from they slander Asians without fear. How do you feel about our situation and what do you plan on doing about it?
Dear BoA,
From all fans in Europe, I really want to know something… do you plan to come to Europe after America ? We are all waiting for you ^^
A huge fan from France
how does it feel to show your booty to the whole world after a 7 years of covering up?
is Lee Soo Man as creepy as I think he is?
Dear BoA, you’ve previously mentioned about your plans to take a break from your career, attend university in America some where four years down the road and most importantly, feeling exhausted and having lost your direction in life; are your plans still relevant to you now?
What is one thing you hope to achieve through your American debut?
Dear BoA,
You have come so far and achieved so much success. I am sure there are times when you’ve just wanted to give up, or you didn’t feel like working, or you were just mentally and physically drained. You’ve achieved your dreams, I want to achieve mine as well. What do you do when your dreams seem so far?
People considor you as a legend as a legend as you broke through the japanese market at 15/16 years of age.
1. How do you feel when you have so many artists look up to you?
2. When there were some hard times, how did you get through them all? especially with the media and Asia watching your every move.
3. Will you release english version of your classic korean songs? eg. My name, GOT etc. because when you kicked but with those performances.
4. After you finished promoting your english album, will you come back to Korea? If so when? I really miss hearing you sing in korean along with your powerful performances that made other artists look weak and i’m sure your korean fans miss you too. OR, will you take a long [well deserved] haitus?
1) Have you experienced homesickness yet? How do you deal?
2) Have you experienced any negative energy from people since you’ve been here? (i.e. people wondering why you were promoting, etc)
3) Do you have any free time? What do you do?

Also- How do you plan to make yourself unique from the hundreds of other artists in the US who are also trying to make it into the mainstream music business?

Wow, awesome news POPSEOUL!
I’ve always wanted to ask her this:
1) Would you collaborate with other Koreans trying to make it to America, if so, then with who?
2) Who would you like to work with here in America the most, vocally or a dance song?
3) What has been your biggest challenge in America?
4) Do you think the Korean entertainment industry still has a spot for you/do you have a spot for the Korean entertainment industry; now that you’ve been absent for almost 4 years?
5) Is your American debut going to focus on mainly your dancing moves, creating music that everyone else can dance to as well; or are you going to showcase your vocal talents as well?
6) Who do you think would be your biggest rival in the American industry and which Korean do you think Americans should look out for?
Thanks! I hope she replies with some juicy answers
