    they look so adorable…

  19. 19 Chestnut November 19, 2008 at 2:27 pm

At least the girl as Tsukushi in the Japanese version is a lot better looking than this girl here! This girl is just plain fugly.

  20. 20 felisshi November 19, 2008 at 2:30 pm

Cute kids growing up into handsome gentlemen? Is that the plot or the story begins when they’re adolescents and ends as adolescents still. Sorry, am not from Korea, not familiar with the stars. But the drama sounds interesting though. I may have heard F4 in the Philippines when the said F4 from China traveled there for a concert or to promote their drama.

  21. 21 Anna November 19, 2008 at 2:30 pm

I loved the Japanese version!! But I didn’t read the Manga so idk how that compared.

    IMPRESS ME, KOREA!! :D

  22. 22 me November 19, 2008 at 2:36 pm

:O the girl that plays the korean makino is NOT fugly.
maybe you’re just looking at a bad picture or something…
if anything, i think she’s cuter than the japanese one.

  23. 23 Anna November 19, 2008 at 2:37 pm

btw the guys are really cute, but i’m not particular to Makino Tsukushi’s counterpart <_<

  24. 24 amy B. November 19, 2008 at 2:43 pm

uhh i read the manga and watched the chinese and japanese version both 0_0 and although the chinese one was a little long winded x_x it was good…..the japanese version was amazingggggggg but they did have to cut out some stuff cause it was short. but i liked the japanese drama even better than the manga, so i def think it lived up to it.
you made it sound like the japanese version was failure or something xD when its like one of the most well-known japanese dramas.
i sooooo ready for the korean version!!!! wheeeeee<3

  25. 25 mi November 19, 2008 at 2:44 pm

Aw, the mini boys are super uber cute! =) But I seriously can’t wait! =D

  26. 26 rk November 19, 2008 at 2:55 pm

OMG!!!! I am one of those crazy anticipating fans!!! i cant freakin wait for this drama! i hope it fills my expectations.

  27. 27 Alison November 19, 2008 at 2:59 pm

uhh i totally agree with amy b. are you seriously expecting the japanese version to include all of the plots from the manga?? cause i read all of the manga, and at times i wish they would of just ended it around volume 25. also one of the reason why the japanese version is so revered is because it didn’t stick so close to the plot lines. it gave it a little something more which is what makes a movie or a show that is adapted from a book better (ie the first boring harry potter movie where they did EVERYTHING in the book, seriously i could of just listened to the recorded version of the book)the japanese version RAWKED. i think we should see if the korean version would live up to the japanese one instead.

    ps
do not even start me on how sucky the taiwanese version was. if the korean one can surpass the other versions, it would be the awesomely horrible taiwanese one.

  28. 28 Izumi November 19, 2008 at 3:05 pm

Aw man, PopSeoul, you really didn’t like the Japanese drama adaption?

I personally loved it, even though I didn’t read the manga (so I suppose my opinion on this one as to whether it lived up to the book series is rather unimportant). I thought the acting was very good by the Japanese cast, Inoue Mao was adorable and had that charm, while Matsumoto Jun and Oguri Shun both knew how to uplift their roles (and I think Oguri Shun was really amazing).

At first, I was a little bit doubtful that Hyunjoong would make a good Rui, but now that I see the pictures, his soft features fit the role well, I think (at least, of the possible Korean celebrities that were available for the role).

I personally like Kim Bum, but I think he is the biggest misplacement in the F4 roles, because I just can’t imagine him acting out the snobby, cold-faced Soujiro from the series… Kim Bum is always a baby-face-smile in ways I remember from his High Kick! days (of course, who knows, now that he’s been getting recent praise for his acting, he might surprise me with his abilities).

Oh, by the way, I hope they find an actress who will do as good of a job as the lady who played the role of Mrs. Domoyouji… Man, she was FIERCE and had amazing stage presence (and was an amazing actress).

Anyhow, I wish the drama luck, but it will never shake my love of the Japanese series :D

  29. 29 Jenn November 19, 2008 at 3:40 pm

Both the japanese and the Taiwanese version were terrible. I hope this one is the one that’s actually good

  30. 30 tiffa November 19, 2008 at 3:48 pm

everything is good except the main actress. WHY MUST IT BE HER???!?!!?!?

  31. 31 sunny November 19, 2008 at 4:37 pm

does this mean KHJ will be leaving “we got married” soon too because this movie thing is gona make him busy??
    i don’t want him to leave…

  32. 32 anni November 19, 2008 at 4:52 pm

Oh my.. where on earth did they find the kids that really look like the older version? the children really resemblance the older boy. Bravo..braco.. I really like that Kim Hyun Joong younger version too.

  33. 33 shinbi November 19, 2008 at 5:19 pm

i think japanese version were good i really wonder korean version

  34. 34 Epiphany81 November 19, 2008 at 5:23 pm

I can’t wait…I’m in such anticipation for this. I checked out the Taiwanese, which was cute if low-budget and dragging…and the Japanese, which was good and definitely higher-budget but skewed on the story line, and read the original manga which was really, really good! I hope the Korean one is also good and has its own charm to it…yay!

  35. 35 lostkid November 19, 2008 at 5:24 pm

YUCK! the main guy’s hair SUCKS! it’s so horrible! leeminho doesn’t look good in the pictures at all, but i’m expecting a lot outta the drama!

  36. 36 1349 November 19, 2008 at 5:39 pm

I loved the Japanese version- it’s one of the best drama of all time. I started watching the Taiwanese version but it was so draggy that I couldn’t even finish it. I will watch the Korean ver. when it comes out, but I honestly don’t think any other version can top the Japanese ones.

  37. 37 anna November 19, 2008 at 5:51 pm

lol i recognized mini yunho. that kid is cute.

  38. 38 dong November 19, 2008 at 6:08 pm

    Han Chae-young has been replaced

  39. 39 Anna Bessonova #1 November 19, 2008 at 6:34 pm

Ugh, this is like the “Twilight” of Asia. A cheesy and shallow piece of media that is going to be adapted into every medium and make millions from impressionable teenagers who think this stuff is actually good!

  40. 40 dingdong November 19, 2008 at 6:41 pm

I totally agree with Amy B. and Alison. The japanese version is short, smart and never get boring. Seriously, I can still watch them and enjoy it like the first time I watched it. Honestly, I doubt the korean will be better than the japanese. Watching the drama, it feels like Matsumoto Jun is born for Domyouji’s character and the same goes for Inoue Mao.

  41. 41 ... November 19, 2008 at 6:51 pm

    @Chestnut

this girl gu hye su is actually very2 cute. if u have watched her dramas Ballad Of Suh Dong, Strongest Chil Woo, The King and I, i think you’ll take back ur words..

  42. 42 TomatoJuice November 19, 2008 at 7:15 pm

    looking forward to this drama~.

  43. 43 woow November 19, 2008 at 7:34 pm

“Hopefully, the Korean remake will be better than the Japanese version which did not live up to the original manga.”

Hey popseoul! have u even seen the japanese version of HYD? i think u haven’t because it’s actually one of the most succesful and popular drama in Japan. It even surpassed Meteor Garden (the taiwanese version). If you’re comparing the manga and the Japanese series, it’s even better than the manga. Have u seen any adaptation from a manga into a live-action without the plot being changed? You should stop saying something not true if you don’t want any MAOTSUJUN fans come here and bash your site.

anyway, i love the korean Domyouji!!! >.< but the girl who will be playing the role of Makino looks old for a high school student.. so i don’t know… Inoue mao is prettier.. but i’m also excited for this one.. they may have the cutest boys for the cast but their acting should be good.. or else this remake will only be a trash.

    @dingdong

i agree with u!!! the role of domyouji was like, made just for him :D

  44. 44 wth November 19, 2008 at 7:46 pm

i love kimbum! im certainly gonna watch this!

  45. 45 mina November 19, 2008 at 8:46 pm

KHJ is leaving we got married by the end of the year =( which would definitely end my followup with the show, i just can’t see myself watching it without the lettuce couple…

anyways i was initially disappointed with the choice of Makino but after seeing this pictures I’m changing my mind, i can totally picture her now in Makino’s character…in regards to Han Chae-Young looking old, she has to play her role. I don’t think any live adaptation would live-up to originals. It’s a totally different feel in a very different world than with a real life characters. I wasn’t able to read the manga but i love all the adaptations. The Taiwanese one which introduced me to Asian dramas, the Japanese version which fulfilled my cravings of more Makino and Domyouji…why can’t we just appreciate and enjoy all of them, instead of comparing which one is better?! I’m sure I’m going to fall for with Korean version as well…I can’t wait to see it ^_^

  46. 46 Rin November 19, 2008 at 8:46 pm

can’t WAIT, mini versions are so cute!! hehes totally not in a pedo way lols, i’d love them for a brother, they’re adorable!

  47. 47 hanayuri November 19, 2008 at 9:03 pm

whoa….mini yunho is cute! he even has d same eyes like yunho!

hmm..he’s gonna be a handsome guy when he grows up!

hyun joong & kimbum is HOT!

  48. 48 tcy. November 19, 2008 at 9:56 pm

    chaeyoung looks effing gorgeous.

  49. 49 Ria November 19, 2008 at 10:02 pm

The Japanese version was AWESOME, what are you talking about PS?! Haha don’t hate on Jun!

  50. 50 Ren November 19, 2008 at 11:40 pm

Ooooooh I can wait to watch this, although its a remake, its such an eye candy XD
The japanese version was awesome, loved it to the end. I love the taiwan version too, although its quite old now, when I was young, I used to watch the taiwan version at night(it filmed every week or smth), it was really entertaining..well at THAT time. :)

  51. 51 727 November 20, 2008 at 12:05 am

The Japanese version was good…the Taiwanese one was a little on the boring side, though the guys looked better in that version. Ah, can’t wait to see this one. I hope someone subbs it as the episodes goes. Ewww, I really dislike the curly hair Domyouji…why did the manga even have a curly hair popular character!!!??? Ah, Kim Hyun Joong is sooo hot…he should fit into the role of Rui just perfect!!! Err, yeah. I don’t know about Han Chae-young playing the main leading lady. She looks soo much older than they do…plus what’s with the pointy nose. It does make her look like a witch!

  52. 52 lynlyn November 20, 2008 at 12:06 am

omg the japanese version was awesome okay, u stupid or something? sorry, just had 2 let that out because the japanese version rocked so much that i watched it more than thrice already (both seasons). i feel like the korean version is going to be very slow and cheesy like all othe rkorean shows, and the domyuji isn’t as hot as matsujun! but the rui guy, as always, they pick someone gorgeous. i’ll watch it anyway, jus 2 c how it goes.

  53. 53 kekekekek November 20, 2008 at 12:15 am

    mwahahahahaha
the mini ver is tooooo cuteeeee!!!!! more than the grown up ver ^^
lol i feel like i just turn pedo XDDDDD!!!!!

  54. 54 KingHeeMin November 20, 2008 at 12:37 am

oh~~~~ can’t wait for this.. i’m really a Hana Yori Dango fan.. waah! (i really don’t like the Taiwanese version ‘Meteor Garden’.. i just don’t know why)

anyways~ i’m really looking forward to this drama since Hyun-joong is Hanazawa Rui which is my favorite F4 member..
and also Kim Bum, i think he can give justice to his role as Soujiroh.. ^^

in the pic with the mini F4.. the older mini Kim Bum (the 3rd one) looks like mini Jaejoong.. right?!

i hope that this will be as great as Hana Yori Dango~~~~ ^^
    i know it will..

  55. 55 boolie2woolie November 20, 2008 at 1:23 am

i don’t know why, but HYUNJOONG seems outshines others. really. hwa~ no?

  56. 56 rieleva November 20, 2008 at 1:34 am

    hyun joong………

huhu, i like that he is one of the cast here in boys over flowers…. but this is also the reason why ssangchu couple will left the show WGM

  57. 57 what November 20, 2008 at 3:06 am

I loved both the Taiwanese and Japanese versions, even though I think the Japanese one was a little better. I’ve never read the manga so I don’t know how they compare. I’m hoping the Korean version lives up to its Japanese counterpart because it was so good. Jun and Inoue Mao had mad chemistry, and Shun was awesome so the SS501 guy has a lot to live up to.
I can’t wait to watch this drama and since I loved the previous versions I have a feeling that I will love this one too. The only issue that I have with this one is that Domyouji and Rui’s name are completely changed. I know that It’s Korean and so the names will be different but at least the Taiwanese version had similar names….Daoming Si and Lei. Oh well, but it’s gonna take me some getting used to.

  58. 58 Reiko November 20, 2008 at 3:13 am

well i definitely would want to watch this series. I’m always a fan of Korean, Chinese and Japanese Dramas.I’m glad we have KBS on our cable so I bet I would get to see it as soon as possible.
In my opinion, the different versions have their own charms. Meteor Garden was kinda dragging but it was nice and refreshing to think that it made the Philippines open up for Asian Dramas. Hana Yori Dango was cool too. It was short but had its own touch onto it. I don’t think there’s a need to insult these dramas by comparing it to other versions. The Korean is worth waiting for. We actually don’t know how it would come out to be but at least we’ll get to see a different Hana Yori Dango again. The actors would matter but if the story is not, what’s the point of watching. Common thing is we love the story.
Also, maybe the casting involves something like popularity votes but the organizers I think are not that dumb just to cast anybody who may be popular but then doesn’t know how to act.
It may be a success or a failure, who knows. Let’s make our judgments after we watch…

  59. 59 Sylvia November 20, 2008 at 3:27 am

The whole cast looks hot !

But there is ONE exeption : I mean, the girl who’ll play tsukushi…her face is annoying; she looks so plastic, her eyes are ridiculously big !

I think that a more natural actress would fit better to this role.

BTW Lee min-ho looks really hot with his curly hair, and Kim Bum’s face is so cute. *__*

I can’t wait for this drama !! :D I hope i will as good as the japanese version !

  60. 60 anya November 20, 2008 at 4:17 am

hmm.. the girl doesn’t look plastic at all. i think she is kinda average looking, but she has charm))
and this is bad that there are so many expectations, they almost always turns into dissapointment.

  61. 61 rza November 20, 2008 at 4:19 am

    Excuse me, popseoul?

“the Japanese version which did not live up to the original manga”

Since when did you decide to start to review dramas?

For the record, no tv show / drama / movie has EVER lived up to any comic / book / manga. Look at Harry Potter, look at Twilight and more… none of them has ever told the exact thing from the literature. Why? It’s called CREATIVE COPYRIGHTS.

I’m sure Korean version of HYD will also be the same case, because it is now marketed towards a variety of audiences, not just the fans of the original.

So stop criticizing with all your might, because it’s useless effort.

Yeah, the cast looks great and everything else. I’m looking forward to watching this, seems interesting =)

  62. 62 lev November 20, 2008 at 4:23 am

The third kid looks so bad and cute. XDD

I need to finish the Japanese one. I’m on the second season atm.

This cast looks nice though. I’ll probably tune in to the Korean version. :D

  63. 63 lev November 20, 2008 at 4:24 am

Oh and the top part of the chick’s uniform reminds of VK and a little bit of HP. XD

  64. 64 Cindy November 20, 2008 at 4:46 am

OMG OMG OMG…CANNOT WAIT!!! >.< (fangirl scream)

  65. 65 Arie November 20, 2008 at 5:08 am

Awwwh the girl that plays Makino looks really sweet ^__^ and Chaeyoung is gorgeous like always!
All the guys are very good looking except the permedhair one… eep.. poor Minho X’D
Kim Jun looks so cute with red hair *___*

  66. 66 hannahco November 20, 2008 at 5:34 am

    kim bum is hooooott

  67. 67 shineeworld November 20, 2008 at 5:47 am

hottttttttttttttt! can’t wait love the cast.

  68. 68 palki November 20, 2008 at 6:16 am

Popseoul, have you lost your mind? The Japanese HYD was great. Meteor Garden had great looking guys. I still find the Taiwanese F4 the best looking. I am not Chinese so I am not being biased. I liked the Japanese Makino. I wish Raine had been the main lead instead of Barbara.
I have high hopes for the Korean version. Right now no one can do dramas like the Koreans.
When it’s all over I want another HYD version with a Chinese Makino (some one with martial arts skills) a Korean Domyouji ( no one can do the macho like the Korean guys) and a Japanese Rui ( Japanese are so good at reserved sensitivity)

  69. 69 LOVIN November 20, 2008 at 6:20 am

hahha i love hana yori dango i look forward to see in korean prosepecive….!i love the cast man!

  70. 70 Taejus November 20, 2008 at 7:25 am

whoa! Ku’s skirt is UBER short!

  71. 71 Cera November 20, 2008 at 7:34 am

I thought I recognized mini-Yunho ^_^ They’re all so adorable! I have to say I’m pretty spazzed out for this show, too. On a side note, I’ve never worn a school uniform. Are the skirts really that short? Remind her not to bend over or catch a breeze, lol!

  72. 72 Jane. November 20, 2008 at 7:42 am

Cera- On the contrary, the skirts are NEVER that short. In Korea its strictly under or right at your knees I believe..but this IS a drama..

  73. 73 devilsangel November 20, 2008 at 7:43 am

wow…it seems it is a fashionable show….Hope they can make something different from the original, manga…make it more reality and with good acting not just goodlooking…..

Hope for the best…Koreans are good in remaking this kind of staffs….

  74. 74 kim November 20, 2008 at 8:07 am

the japanese version was the best ever and that’s final.

  75. 75 Jini November 20, 2008 at 8:21 am

    OMG!! MOONBIN!!!! *_*
    I love this kid..
    and what a hot cast!!!

i’m looking forward to watch it ;D

  76. 76 Omo-nah! November 20, 2008 at 10:16 am

WTF! are u talking about POPseoul, HanaDAn jap version was the shizz. The cast was great, the setting was gorgeous and even the o.s.t was amazing. Know ur sh!t first. You make out the japanese to be a complete bomb from the original, when in fact the korean, already doesnt sound original.

  77. 77 LadyIgraine November 20, 2008 at 10:18 am

wow…i can’t wait. i hope it lives up to its expectation.

  78. 78 Minnie-chan November 20, 2008 at 10:39 am

what the hell are you talking about popseoul! the japanese version DID live up to the manga. It was Meteor Garden that sucked (you had to admit even though the guys were hot, the acting WAS HORRIBLE). But I am anticipating what this version will turn out to be like ^^

  79. 79 faza November 20, 2008 at 10:43 am

The japanese did a very good job with the series, lets hope the Korean one will be smashing as well. I don’t like the actress acting as Makino in the Korean version though, don’t think she really suits it, but we shall have to see.

  80. 80 live4music November 20, 2008 at 12:30 pm

well i’ll be tuning in to watch for sure XD
    MINI-YUNHO~!!! hahaha

  81. 81 bobo November 20, 2008 at 12:51 pm

wow moonbin (mini yunho) is such a popular little boy.

  82. 82 boo November 20, 2008 at 1:00 pm

Han Chae Young is waaaaay toooo oldddd ! and i totally agree with naomi, isn’t she like older than all the guys there ?? =____________=

  83. 83 mygookness November 20, 2008 at 1:48 pm

^^^ uh, she’s suppose to be older than all the boys.

  84. 84 lemon November 20, 2008 at 3:00 pm

Gyu Hye Sun looks sooo adorable! it looks like she came straight out of a manga.

  85. 85 rhey November 20, 2008 at 3:33 pm

…somebody’s got to read the manga, watch the first Japanese live movie version, watch the anime version, watch the Taiwan live drama version series, watch the recent Japanese live drama version series and the HanaDan Final movie before commenting on what version lived up to the original manga…the manga itself has 36 volumes and the Japanese HanaDan drama series was made with the original mangaka Yoko Kamio’s approval…to make the drama more compact some parts were changed but fans were also consulted on which part to retain in the storyline to fit into the first 9 and the second 11 episodes…Hana Yori Dango is actually a best seller in Japan and has been translated into several languages so it’s not a wonder that it has become popular all over the world…if you are a fan of the lovable idiot Tsukasa and the clueless Tsukusi, you would understand why Matsumoto Jun and Inoue Mao aside from Oguri Shun as Rui, are the best in portraying their respective roles, and are not just some pretty faces… they really did justice to the characters of the manga…do some reading and watching and then decide whether the Jdrama HanaDan didn’t live up to the original manga, POPSEOUL.

  90. 90 WickedMommy November 20, 2008 at 11:55 pm

    I loved the Japanese version.
I can’t wait to see the Korean version.
    I never read the manga.
The anime version, I thought was slowwwww. Was not a big fan.
Koo Hye Sun I think will do a wonderful job.
Liked her in the drama “Pure in Heart”.

  91. 91 haha November 21, 2008 at 1:28 am

LOL nothing can beat the japanese version! But this is gonna be pretty good I can tell..esp. w/ that smexy hanazawa dude @_@

  92. 92 megane November 21, 2008 at 2:08 am

Funny that non fans of the original manga always root for those actors with pretty faces, Tsukushi is a plain but intelligent girl who’s a tomboy and poor, Tsukasa, the Domyoji scion, is a curly haired idiot with an honest personality, Rui is a high functioning autistic and music lover, it’s Soujiro, the playboy and Akira, the madam killer, who have the looks if you knew your manga bible…this Kdrama version should at least live up with the Japanese one in acting and high budget sets because the Taiwanese version just didn’t make it believable and the acting was forgettable.

  93. 93 fangirl November 21, 2008 at 2:20 am

dude..so what if the japanese version did not live up to the original manga version?? so what, they made it a great twist anyway! and it was a powerful cast too!! i believe in this korean version..i love the cast so much! but you shouldn’t say that to the jap version especially when “manga” is a japanese original..FIGHTING!!! hot cast!

  94. 94 Meru November 21, 2008 at 2:33 am

It’s obvious that Popseoul didn’t watch the Japanese version consider how out of touch the writer sounds. Somehow, I doubt the Korean version will ‘top’ it, but it might bring something different and fresh to the original story. I have to say, the Korean F4 looks like they are still in middle school, and the cast for Tsukushi is a disappointment.

  95. 95 hannahlove November 21, 2008 at 2:46 am

i like the boys that were chosen… hehe even the mini 4
but the main girl looks way too old for this role

  103. 103 coco November 21, 2008 at 2:22 pm

Been super fans of Hana Yori Dango as watched Taiwan and Japan version and fall in love with Domyoji (Jerry Yan & Matsumoto Jun). But my personal view Taiwan Version too draggy, only like the part1 as part2 was a total disppointment.Japan version both part1 and 2 was great and also HYD Final movie(I love it).
So can’t wait for the Korea version to release. But this time from the pictures I find Rui(Kim Hyun Joong) look better than Domyoji (Lee Min Ho)Haha! and Nishikida(Kim Bum)look so cute and boyish, Akira (Kim Joon)look good too. As for Makino (Goo Hye Sun) look older than she in Pure19 don’t have the school girl look.

  104. 104 MissEazy November 21, 2008 at 2:36 pm

uuuugh I really do have to agree about not living up to the manga, nothing has. While Meteor Garden was a low budget production people really have to take into mind that it was done a while ago. Taiwan dramas have only recently started working up to Kdramas and Jdramas. I mean, if you were to compare the Taiwan production of It started with a kiss to the Japanese Itazura na kiss, you’d see the exact opposite. Since the TW version is more recent. The Jdrama Hanadan was waaay more recent than the TWdrama Meteor Garden. I hate how people are always downing it because of that. Admittedly the acting wasn’t anything to be wowed over but really, if you get over how much shinier the Jdrama is as a whole, there really wasn’t much amazing acting there either. It was just as corny too! You can’t tell me that the fight scenes weren’t like, the lamest thing ever! There’s things about the Jdrama that were really lacking, it’s not like it was the most perfect thing ever. But don’t get me wrong, I LOVED it. I watched the movie for it recently actually and the acting really improved! So I’m not saying that it was bad, I’m just saying that people need to stop comparing it to the TW version like it’s all that and the TW version is absolute sh*te. Anyway, after reading all these comments all over about this kdrama version, I feel like people are really going to compare this one to the Jdrama too. And I just think that they shouldn’t. Of course there will be differences and elements of one that you like of the other so if people compare, they’ll end up being disappointed about this or that and it’ll ruin the experience. I personally am going to watch this as if it’s a brand new adaptation of the manga (which far too many people seemed to have bypassed reading. It really was amazing and people should take the time to read it). I hope that Go Hye Sun can do an accurate Tsukushi and that the guy they picked to do Domyouji can capture his essence (because I don’t think Matsujun reeeaaallllyyy got it all that well). I’m actually really happy about HyunJoong being cast as Rui, he suits it really really well. I can’t say much about the others aside from the obvious fact that Han Chae Young, though gorgeous, is entirely too old for this role. I can’t wait for this and I’m super excited its finally here!

  108. 108 sophie November 22, 2008 at 1:45 am

i finished watching the Taiwanese, Japanese (the best version for me so far.. :]) and anime version of HYD… and i also read its manga… and all these are worth watching…

i look forward in the korean version… i hope they won’t change the story…

    BTW, the f4 kids are adorable… :]

  109. 109 rhey November 22, 2008 at 3:32 am

…I think Han Chaeyoung fits the role of Shizuka, the Todou heiress, model and law student who’s also the first love of Rui…she’s glamorous in the caps. The role calls for somebody who’s about 4 years older than the boys anyway.
…although what worries me is Koo Hyesun, I hope she can do justice to her role…still, I’m interested in watching this version…good luck to all the actors.

  110. 110 CeceliaS November 22, 2008 at 10:24 am

  112. 112 Eager November 22, 2008 at 2:32 pm

Althought the taiwanese one wasn’t spetacular, it was the version that came out first and first grabbed everyone’s attention. I remember it was the first Manga adapted drama i watched and i fell in love with this genre. Now it seems like every drama has a manga based origin. The japanese one was more concise and to the point but personally I thought the cast was not as good looking as the taiwanese one. However, the korean one has one HOT HOT cast! Hopefully, they’ll know how to act and the plot is good….must be a lot of pressure to do this version since it’s bascially the remake of a remake…

  113. 113 mirika02 November 22, 2008 at 9:01 pm

    wow. the kids are adorable.

and like most of you here, I am 100% ready for this show,

though I didn’t like the part about you mentioning that the HYD Japan didn’t live up to the manga, or to put it in another term, didn’t live up to your expectations perhaps? but HYD J is one of the best dramas ever shown.

anyway, this better be good. :D

  116. 116 xRukiax November 23, 2008 at 9:29 pm

i was a bit disspointed about the girl, she looks so fragile and weak…instead of having that “im-makino-the-weed-that-never-dies” attitude =P whats the purpose of having that sexy short uniform, makes her look even more weird T____T but kim hyun joong is perfect as rui, skinny and tall with that haircolor =) don’t wanna have expectations for this drama, but looking forward to watching it =)

  117. 117 omg@yahoo.com November 24, 2008 at 2:37 am
