I am sooooo excited for this.
HAHAHAHAHA
I LIVE IN NYC. I WILL EMAIL RIGHT AWAY.
Why not LA, BoA :d
I live in LA.
But I guess as long as BoA got some promotions, I’m happy with it.
And BoAfans, please stop argue back and forth with those antis. especially those who act so immaturely and spit out all the negativities, without providing anything to back up their absurd arguments.
^ Exactly, once again, you say that you can get worked up about someone criticizing and replying to your comment, but then you say that Boa fans need to “learn to take negative comments or shut the f*ck up”.
Take your own advice bud. Your getting more emotional right now than the defenders on this thread.
Oh, sorry caro110, I meant to reply that to the Anti kid up there.
I am from NY and I would go, just to see how the performance goes. She’s an okay artist a do i have respect for here. But since I am in school far from NY going is not an option.
i actually think AntiBoA is a fan who is trying to promote her articles, and its working ^^ maybe i should start baselessly bashing boa too, then ppl can reply to my comments, and then we can all make every boa article go over 200 comments!
BTW boa fans MTV iggy isn’t mainstream at all, lol. It isn’t some TRL gig MTV iggy is focused on foreign artist, asian, muslim, ect. lol……not exactly the MTV we’re use to, MTV iggy doesn’t even get the much promotion on ‘normal MTV’ ROFL.
and I’m sure her song/video wont be played on the screen although that wouldn’t make a difference considering JYP had Wonder Girls faces and song playing on the same screen 2 years ago rofl. And they were just newbies too. LOL and this is all boa can get?
lmao no talent = no real promotion.
LOLLL FAIL.
BluJ I’ll leave any kind of comment I like and if someone chooses to reply to it then they’re the ones provoking me which means I can take it any way I like.
If I leave a comment that doesn’t reply to anyone and it just my opinion that someone can’t handle, don’t reply to it in the first place.
If my comment isn’t directed at you or anyone then don’t reply to it just because you’re a f*cking emotional little fan b*tch. LOL
lool fail~! yes ^^ lets all expect the worst so that we can be RAELLY happy if she succeeds! good idea
Yes, spewing out curses shows that you’re definitely not an “emotional” “b*tch”, right?
No one on this current thread seemed to have replied to your posting either.
What other self-contradictions would you like to offer?
lol How about we just enjoy the failure as it unfolds. LOL
I know I am. ^__^
Oh and my bad guys, MTV iggy is just focused on asian entertainment, it isn’t even that broad to focus on other non-asian acts, lol……
I kind of feel bad for boa now lol.
Not only does she get a cheap crappy MV and have to at some point promote a song about sucking d*ck but she isn’t even smart enough to realize that sticking to ASIAN media in the US does not = BRANCHING OUT.
Too much pride to get out on the street and hand out CD’s like big time artist today had to do?
Aw poor boa. lol
Ah, finally, your self-contradictory posts have stopped.
I was hoping you’d continue your wonderful charade; if you kept on going at the pace you were, we could’ve even published a book on it.
BluJ you’re right no one did, which is why my comment was speaking about the people who simply posted their opinion and had the little faggy boa fans attacking them for it.
If you can’t handle a negative opinion that’s not f*cking directed at you, MOVE ON AND GET OVER IT. =)
I don’t see beyonce fans b*tching at every online person who doesn’t like her, lol. Maybe that’s the difference between international mega stars, and small time d-listers. lol
Their fans can be confident shes someone so the people who dislike her don’t even matter at this point, and boa fans….can’t even take a few negative comments, tsk tsk. d-listers should take all the attention they can get. negative or positive. lmao
ANYWAYS.
Guess I’ll stick around to this site and bash boa on any topic I can LOL. =)
Good, keep up your promotional work. All I care is that PopSeoul.com gets more hits. Click the refresh button a few more times, while you’re at it.
I like Popseoul so why would I mind that? LOL =)
Moron ROFL.
PS keep the boa articles coming, lol.
omg i cant wait!!!! i liv in new jersey so i might go for this
shes so pretty and so talented, boa unnie fighting!!!!
oh yes
please keep these articles coming
It keeps me more excited about her debut

i am seriously addicted to her song, its on my top playlist along w/ eat you up, single ladies, and liv ur life… it fits in perfectly w/ these new american hits, sm is a genius
keep the fighting coming
Quote: “I didn’t see black americans trying to mold themselves into the pop scene, no they took their R&B music, changed it up a bit so it would appeal to everyone and basically took the hell over the music scene”
Largely thanks to Elvis Presley – a Southern white boy, who in the 50s took the “black sound” and brought it to mainstream that paved the way for black artists to walk down the path to showcase their music.
My point? Not much but just giving a view and how music came to be what it is today – through exposure and hardships despite criticisms and backlash.
BoA is not the first Korean artist (Rain’s been there, done that on MTV TRL in ‘05) nor will she be the last but those who want to support her should do so. Personally, it’s great to see Asian artists appearing in the US, however big or small the venue. With each step, it’s more exposure as they are knocking down that racial/cultural barrier little by little.
There is plenty of room so good luck to her.
Elvis had nothing to do with black americans breaking into the music scene moron, if he did then he would have promoted their labels back then and helped them out, but no he went there, stole and pretended to be original.
Africans american created their own labels, hired their own people to run it and hired their own people with talent as artist, and had their OWN music and were original, they weren’t trying to sound like those little white girl groups or those white country singers, they brought the R&B and they brought the old school hip hop, the rock, ect, and everyone, *E.V.E.R.YO.N.E* followed and continues to today.
Asians should try doing the same instead of trying to jump into scenes where they don’t fit in.
Hey Anti, Your response is so ridiculous and out of touch that I cannot even respond. Go study on the history of rock & roll.
Go study the history?
How about you go study the history of how black rock n roll artist, or should I say just people in their house bored with blues music started rock music you moron.
Lol you people are so in love with these white people you believe anything they tell you huh?
How sad is that.
pot calling the kettle black
Ah heres a nice quote for you..it might pull that head of yours out of whitey’s ball sack you clueless turd.
“Lost is the reality that rock `n’ roll was actually born out of the belly of Black blues music and raised by Black artists in the 1950s in smoke-filled clubs along Beale Street in Memphis, 47th Street in Chicago and 125th Street in Harlem. Only years later, when White teenagers began openly digging the electric guitars and the pounding drum beats that Black artists were playing – a sound their parents had disparagingly labeled “race” and “rhythm and blues” music – did White disc jockey Alan Freed re-name it “rock `n’ roll,” and White artists entered the lucrative field without stigma.
And when they did, they didn’t revolutionize the music. Lacking creativity, many White artists “covered” songs Blacks had written years earlier and made it big by copying the performing styles, dances and dress of Black artists like Little Richard, who even today can’t believe how he and other Black artists were ripped off.”
Keep up your reaseach…and everyone here will probably thank me for leaving this site so you can go on with your select choices of mature, intellingent name calling.
Come on! What’s all about the hatre here? If you don’t want to be supportive of BoA, then don’t go. There is no need to bash her with stupidity (to some of the haters).
To me, this is actually a small promotion, but at least that her promotional activities are in progress.
You can’t expect to have her coming here with a huge promotion since she is considered a very new artist in the US market. She’s starting herself at the bottom again (just like when she was in Japan).
LOL trust me Miki I’m paying literally thousands each year at school to learn about this stuff you think I don’t know about, lol. =)
This is my *research* this is what I spend hours writing about and spend hours researching to write about LOL.
But thanks for giving up, trying to keep some of your pride I see lol.
Go study Anti…you don’t want your thousands to go to waste arguing in Popseoul of all places.
LOL @ miki, okay I’ll make it less…pathetic looking..
Omggg miki you’re so right, I was SO wrong.
OMG IM GONNA GO CRY AND LEAVE NOW. lol
Now go muster up some pride and suck it b*tch.
BTW, you have NOT even convinced me with your rantings and hatred…wow, you have issues. Now go have fun at the playground.
antiboa got nothing but facts there. i had that part before about rock and roll but did not feel like reading much
oops i meant heard
Just take some history in class and you think you know everything? lolz. So full of yourself.
Propably you just an internet troll, google some informations and post it here. Try so hard to be impressive?
But I honestly think you have no life. If you HATE BoA that much why bother coming to this thread and post all these bashings from time to time and attack anybody that argues against you. You must have plenty of free time in your hands.
No matter how hard you try she is still successful and got all the fame and wealth. Compared to her, you are nothing. So I actually feel soory for you because you grow such a strong hatred toward an artist that you barely know anything about.
She might not appeal to your taste but wow…diss her to such an extent?
BoA might not be the best singer out there. I like her actually but not a crazy fan of her but I think she is a great PERFORMER/ENTERTAINER. Give credit when credit is due.
boo boa sucks
And everybody should ignore that troll and let her/himself bark like a dog.
I wonder now all these negative comments above are actually from this anti user alone.
If we reply back to her comments, it’s only push this battle further and make that internet troll having the chance to spread more negativities.
And lol at that comment of candis “AntiBoA has nothing but facts there”. Lol.
One person, 2 IDs? pwahaha
Popseoul – please correct the title it’s MTV Iggy. Basically it’s like MTV K, MTV Chi, etc just mixed into one channel. (Remember how those channels were canceled?)
In other words it’s the MTV World Channel that hardly anyone cares about.
RiceSmasher: So do you want traditional/folk Asian music hit big in the States or what? Like trot or enka?
You seem target mainstream artists, what about the indie or underground? Aren’t they also getting music influences from the West as well?
They enjoy that kind making that kind of music, so why bother what they like? And guess what – music genres isn’t limited to race or ethnicity. lol maybe you’re the one who’s being the bigot here.
aren’t limited*
Oh and what about Asian American artists? Or do you disregard them as unoriginal too? Your little rant is pretty flawed.
well antiboa DOES have nothing but facts, everyhing she said was true…..Elvis ripped off lots of black music…African Americans DID start Rock n’ Roll…but I guess all of you are soo in denial that you refuse to do your research and get the facts….these stories run literally 24-7 on VH1 classic…you can hear all about how blacks started Blues which simply branched out into different genres of music..its ignorant of you “pathetic loser” (how befitting) to acusse someone of simply spewing negative comments when in reality its all true….BoA isn’t doing anything to promote herself here and most …like 99.9% of people outside of the Asian Music industry have hardly ever heard of her and don’t intend too..she isn’t gonna dominate….Latinos and Blacks have just started getting thier recongintion and they have been fighting much longer and MUCH harder than asians to get thier voices heard….
i am not antiboa i am someone else to the idiots who think i am antiboa
ladoftern
the voice of reason. the one who made me know i was not dumb when saying about the one drop rule
@ RiceSmasher: SHUT. UP. and STOP. GENERALIZING.
I know you have some good points, but you are overanalyzing and generalizing everything. FYI, if you’re annoyed at asians that much, why bother coming here in the first place?
Honestly, how bout that asian girl Charice pempengco? as i can see, she seems doing well and is getting famous.. isnt she asian? -hypothetical question if you dont get it-
The asian guy from Black eyed peas. Lea Salonga who usually sings Disney songs and broadway
Lucy liu, jackie chan and etc…? I dont know about Lucy Liu singing though.. but other than the music industry, they are pretty famous in Hollywood in the talento secion
SO STFU!
I am sick and tired of people like you who generalize everything… -sheesh- talk about being so narrow minded and yes as i quote ‘kay’” you’re the one who’s being a bigot here”
@AntiBoa and Ladoftern: I agree w/ u about Boa on most part, but please stop assumin stuff until it happens.
And regarding to the blacks and latinos fighting longer than asians for their voices to be heard…. how would you know if asians werent fighting longer than black or latinos? Maybe they were fighting way before them, but their voices still wasnt heard? So stop sputtering nonsense because no one can fully tell the actual history unless the person was actually there… and even if they were there, how do we know that their telling the truth?
Im not talking about the general slavery or whatever (because we know that it happened). However, i’m talking about the other parts of the world whos history has never been told or heard…
Anyways, im getting off topic here:
Awwww Its on Dec 3rd? damn I have my Psycho exam on that day x.x and i cant leave cause il fail University =( Awwww bad timing
“BoA will perform her debut American single “Eat You Up” at MTV NYC studios on December 3rd. The anticipated live performance will be broadcasted on the jumbo screens in Times Square in addition to MTV U, MTV2, and MTV IGGY.”
So yes – this performance will be shown on MTV as well as on Times Square’s TV screens.
wasn’t Rain on that show a couple of years ago? or TRL or something…
woah.. AntiBoA’s in college?
ud think by paying tuition, going to a school to learn and be more open minded, he’d be a little bit less of a curse-mouthful, more emotional than logical kind of a person… lmao… probably attends community 2 year college or somethin, go study kid, then maybe u can actually do well instead of wasting ur time and shuffling out ur inner complexes on a music gossip blog
