Boa eats up “Youtube Live”

Boa sheds the sexy outfits for baggy pants and hightops for her live performance in Tokyo for the “Youtube Live.” So what is going on? Is she going to stick with “cute” in Japan but “sexy” in the U.S.? Check it out.

Last time I checked this is a general Kpop blog site. Not a Boa fansite.

  2. 2 Ky November 24, 2008 at 10:17 am

@Lana – I guess the same could be applied when a lot of Boa’s fans basically said a lot of crap to the other performers/youtube users on Live Tokyo when they could have taken their anger somewhere else.

  3. 3 lana November 24, 2008 at 10:18 am

And last time you checked, you were correct.

BoA is a prominent figure in Kpop. Just as I perfectly paralleled the example with me going on a site like RapUp.com or some other hip hop site and insulting Ciara.

The moment AntiBoA spewed out his first line of dissing her (that’s right, not criticizing, downright dissing, swearing, etc.), he basically signed a paper that would legalize the death claws coming out of all the numerous BoA fans here.

If he didn’t realize that and wants to be a victim for what he’s done, then he is utterly clueless.

  4. 4 rico November 24, 2008 at 10:22 am

hate thread on antiboa… ok now that is out there lol

but on the same note, i think he deserved it, but i dont think u need to make one for him, becuz if karma’s true, then all his hopes that boa fails miserable in her career and her dreams will probably b*tchslap him across the face (as he loves saying) and he’ll fail at his ambitions and goals utterly, let’s all give a around of applause to karma!

  5. 5 rool November 24, 2008 at 10:24 am

I don’t think Antiboa cares anyway. lol you guys are pathetic making a thread as well. Sorry, people from both sides are truly lame. Kpop has a hit a new low.

  6. 6 sarai November 24, 2008 at 10:27 am

i think we can all just be happy w/ ourselves and leave this thread alone now, it’s about dying

except antiboa, lol, must feel kind of like george bush, has a ton of ppl hating him and hoping and praying for him to fail epically in life

  7. 7 Izumi November 24, 2008 at 10:28 am

Um… You guys, you guys are digressing WAY off topic… @_@; lol.

  8. 8 BKJSuh November 24, 2008 at 10:34 am

I guess AntiBoa isn’t coming back. He is hanging on other topics though.

  9. 9 AntiBoA November 24, 2008 at 10:39 am

    Rico & Lana.

    1. Freedom of speech, oh yes that counts online. I havn’t made any personal threats to you or to this great country nor have I made any threats to boa’s life, ect. broke the law in any way.

    2. don’t like my opinion, don’t care, don’t reply to it. I never said it was fact nor am I forcing you to agree with it, If someone replies to ME with their opinion I’m going to defend my LEGAL RIGHT in AMERICA to have MY OPINION. =)

    3. if you think I’m bad wait until mainstream media sites and blogs get their eyes on the Asian girl singing about ‘eating something up’. I suggest you get over the defensive fantard crap, no one cares, lol.

    LOL.

Well I’m gonna go watch ‘holiday in handcuffs’ gotta love melissa joan hart, hahaha.

    :)

Hey, give me the link to the forum with the thread on it, I want to check it out just to see… (Maybe I’ll join too, lol, but not go as far as the voodoo doll… That’s a little bit creepy, XD)

  11. 11 candis November 24, 2008 at 10:45 am

i am having fun watching these fights. as i always say antiboa for the win

  12. 12 Ebbie November 24, 2008 at 10:47 am

It’s a bit sad that boa fans can’t take simple insults from some random person on a blog, get over it jumping morons, this isn’t a “we love boa” blog this is a kpop blog, jeez snsd fans don’t even get THIS nutty over the hundreds of people who bash them whenever theres a post made about them, wonder girl fans don’t get that pathetic either.

BoA fans have come to a new pathetic low.

I mean WOW. lol get a life tards.

AntiBoA hasn’t even said anything that harsh to be honest, lol. I guess when someone tells the truth about her singing boa fans can’t defend it, they get offended and start crying making little threads on forums about some random ass poster on a blog…..lmao

Can anyone tell me what gender this person is? I already have the doll set, but according to the instructions, it will work better if you can specify details, i.e. gender. If anyone else has any suggestions for what I should try doing first to the doll, please post! *As a side note, I have “Devil Inside” by Hikki-chan playing right now, which is kind of befitting of the theme >:D*

Okay… This article is getting way out of hand now… Just walk away people.

Boa fans, if it makes you feel any better, AntiBoa has said that he was amazed by Christina’s performance of “Keeps Gettin’ Better” @ the VMA’s, which was lip-synced, so basically… You can walk away now, knowing that everything he’s been insulting BoA on on her live singing, has basically been punctured.

Everyone, just return to your normal lives, come on :D

  15. 15 Ebbie November 24, 2008 at 11:25 am

lol lina is that forreal? I’m assuming that’s soompi then, just by the “vet. member” title.

boa fans are seriously retarded, like on a serious new level.

Btw AntiBoa never made any comment wishing harm or death on boa, lol. The fact that little boa fans are gathering with voodoo dolls is just….wow. lol AntiBoA must be laughing her/his ass off.

And she/he only said Christina A. gave a good performance, their opinion is still their opinion at the end of the day. BoA fans will just have to learn to live with that. lol

I’ve never seen a fanclub so pathetic to the point they’d spend money on dolls, to try to curse some anti fan. wow. lol

  16. 16 lina November 24, 2008 at 11:29 am

lol yeah, it’s real, but it’s definitely not Soompi.

It’s actually a Jpop based music forum, so most people there don’t even really care about Kpop, but there are a lot of BoA fans in Jpop, what can I say… XD

In a way… BoA’s fanclub is really loyal and scary… Or at least that one person; the rest of the posts are usually just taking down all of AntiBoA’s comments (making him/her look like a self-contradicting idiot), but it’s just this one person, ‘UtadaNation’ that is doing the voodoo doll thing… Apparently, she already had one since last year and didn’t know what to do with it, lol.

  17. 17 Sean November 24, 2008 at 11:31 am

The fact that boa fans like (BluJ) believe one comment being dis-proven makes someones opinion “un-true” even when it is infact an opinion is kind of disturbing. You Boa fans must really take anti boa comments to heart huh?

That’s kind of pathetic to be perfectly honest.
    Actually that’s beyond pathetic.

Don’t even get me started on a thread over a pop seoul poster, PS must be crying tears of joy over this post haha.

  18. 18 mygookness November 24, 2008 at 11:39 am

i don’t know much about BoA but all i know is that this song sucks and gets more annoying everytime i try listening to it. i want to support an asian sister trying to make it in the states but…it’s like nails on a chalkboard…i can’t f*cking stand this song!!!

  19. 19 BluJ November 24, 2008 at 11:42 am

    So Sean,

Where in my comment did I say that one comment from AntiBoA makes the rest of his opinions “untrue”?

Go read my post again, bud. I said the rest of his arguments regarding BoA’s lip synced performances have been punctured (as in, weakened, debilitated, fallen apart… need I continue?) Which is true. Think about it, this kid goes on for hours and hours saying that the main reason why BoA sucks is because she lip syncs… Rest of his comments making it sound like a single lip synced performance just grosses him out.

And then he turns around and idiotically praises a lip synced performance, as if it was LIVE. Would you not agree that by having stated so, his ability to distinguish and judge between live and lip synced performances has seriously been hindered?

As for the other forum deal… Well, that’s out of my hands, I just wish the very best luck to AntiBoA that the voodoo doll thing doesn’t get on his nerves.

utadanation, i’m bored so i’m gonna try something too, it’s a japanese spell/malediction/curse called 呪い (norui); there are many, but there’s one where apparently u can write out the person’s name on one of those buddhist strips of papers, and then u soak it in water then u can choose to burn it

lol i doubt its gonna do anything, but like i said i’m really bored, plus this person is a disgrace to boachan, so why not

can anyone post how to write ANTIBOA in katakana? i’m still in beginning japanese so i’m not sure, but i am thinking it would be アンチボア is that right? the little hyphens for the extended mora always confuse me

  28. 28 .nodame. November 24, 2008 at 12:04 pm

    Don’t hate me but…
    … I didn’t really like her performance >.<
I think it’s because I know that she can do better, and I don’t believe the whole “it’s her first time performing the song” thing. She’s had plenty of “first times”, and they were better.

The top was cute, the pants/shoes thing though… eh.

To me, she starts out ok, then doesn’t sing the chorus, barely dances, and once the second verse comes on, you can tell she’s forgetting the pronunciation of the lyrics because her words are hesitant and they become mumbled. She’s breathless through most of the performance, her notes are often flat, and shaky. People are syaing it’s because of her dancing… but I’m an ex-dancer, and those moves aren’t hard. Especially for someone like BoA, who normally does more aggresive dancing.

Now, I’m not a BoA hater. Been listening to her since the very beginning. I was just disappointed, that’s all *shrugs*
And hey, we’re all entitled to our own opinions, right?

  29. 29 AntiBoA November 24, 2008 at 12:08 pm

BluJ I never said her comeback performance was live, I said it was a good performance lmao. In case you didn’t notice she did a few runs live close to the end of the song and sounded strained compared to her usual self, and on top of that she sounded awful (speaking) when doing a short interview with MTV, Christina hasn’t denied this lip synching claims so I’m assuming as obvious as it was that was the point considering she is not well at the moment, which I can understand, Christina has lost and strained her vocals many times, that comes with a having an amazing powerful voice, unlike BoA who just strains from plain suckage.

Beyonce also didn’t sing the chorus in ’single ladies’ at her TRL performance, what’s your point?

BoA is the only singer I’ve seen lip synch while literally moving her arms and hips around on stage, no not break dancing, not krumping, not spinning on her head and flipping around like those 12(?) dudes from JYPE, just plain simple pop moves, lol.

Boa live is a bad singer to me too believe it or not I’ve heard her live plenty of times, like I said nasal, strained and no quality to her voice, her voice reminds me of that Jessica girl from SNSD actually lol.

Christina aguilera sick, strained and live and is better singer than boa at her best, lol.

Of course you don’t have to agree but you aren’t going to dis-credit MY opinion, lol. What you are going to do is accept it and get over it, or perhaps you can kill yourself over it. lol either way I get what I want.

and ROFL lina thanks for those, ROFL.
Makes my digust for boa fans even greater to be honest, lol. Not that boa fans have to prove what delusional morons they are, but I do appreciate it when they go out of their way to make people hate them, lol.

  30. 30 Izumi November 24, 2008 at 12:09 pm

May I point out how gracefully and politely .nodame. points out rooms for improvements?

AntiBoA… You should seriously learn from her; I know she’s actually a supporter and not a hater like you are, but if you want to convince anyone (especially BoA fans) that BoA has certain aspects she needs to improve on, .nodame.’s way of going about it effective (not your name-calling, image-staining, condescending, etc. method).

From every single post I’ve read so far by AntiBoA, non had even slightly convinced or poked me.

But after reading .nodame.’s post, I now go “Oh yeah, that’s true, I agree there…” and so on.

When you can express your opinions in a mature way, people actually respect you, even if you disagree with their opinions.

  31. 31 AntiBoA November 24, 2008 at 12:10 pm

    @Truth

Lol I’m sure they’re already starting a notebook on me.

What is ‘jumping boa’s’ some sort of cult or something? you boa fans are f*cking freaks, end of story. LOL

  32. 32 AntiBoA November 24, 2008 at 12:13 pm

Izumi I’m not trying to convince you of anything, nor do I care who you like or dislike. I will write anything within the laws in my country on here, and If someone believes they have the right to respond to my opinion with question and doubt in their mind then I will respond, with more of opinions.

I don’t care if you like boa, I don’t care what any boa FAN thinks of boa because obviously you are a fan, your opinion doesn’t matter, and I’m sure you’ll say the same to someone who isn’t going to deny they’re an anti fan.

    Like I f*cking said.

Don’t like my opinion, don’t care, don’t bother replying because you will not get a response of me defending my opinion like a cry baby, you’ll simply get worse than what you were responding to in the first place.

    END. OF. STORY.

Okay, I’m not really the superstitious type, but since we’re getting creative and fun with these curses, I have an input.

In medieval Europe, they believed in something called ‘malice’ – basically, if you really hate or abominate something or someone, you, without knowing it are feeding a very negative energy against that object. This is proportional to how many people share the abomination; and if enough is filled, then actual physical means start being carried out by forces, like strange accidents and deaths.

In China, there was a classroom that as a joke, sent around a Death Note with their teacher’s name in it, but it turned out they were really giving some hating on there. Coincidentally, the homeroom teacher died four months after the incident from a car accident.

I honestly don’t believe in this stuff, but just for fun, and carrying out our anger in a healthy way, I say we concentrate our malice into a Death Note! But an online-version! :D I can design like an e-note, where everyone can re-write AntiBoA’s name on it, and initial next to it. So, how’s bout it? To be honest, I’m just kind of excited to use Photoshop once again, but eh…

    ——————–

It’s funny though, after I post I always re-read it and think “I could have written that better.” X)
    But thank you! *hug*

… I’ve never been one for name calling, really :|

  35. 35 AntiBoA November 24, 2008 at 12:22 pm

    LMAO.

I’m glad I don’t know the name of that forum, although it’d be easy enough to narrow down with a quick search of all those usernames and the fact that it’s a jpop forum lol.

I’d be sending a report about all the death threats to my life just for fun. =) Let’s not forget that people today actually do get in legal trouble for death threats online. :)

It’s amazing how I pick on BoA’s singing and boa fans resort to death threats? how amusing is that? lol talk about digusting worthless humans lol. Well that’s boa fans for you, and miss boa herself must not be too different if those are the kind of fans she’s attracting. lol

lol.. are these kids like 12 or something?

  38. 38 lina November 24, 2008 at 12:25 pm

If they actually start getting to the point where they’re trying to find your IP Address and making death threats, I’ll post the link, cuz I think that’d be going overboard.

But at their current state, they’re not threatening your life by going with “charms” or what not. They’d have to actually literally state, “I’m going to attack/kill ___” in order to get in legal trouble.

I know about this very well cuz I had to deal with someone in high school lol and it was really frustrating, cuz my lawyer couldn’t do anything, and the person was actually doing similar things to me…

Anyhow, I’ll keep a good eye on this to make sure it doesn’t go over the top, but right now, it’s just plain hilarious…

there’s one where u can wish lots of bad luck on them that can affect them in minor parts of life (or maybe major, depending on ur viewpoint lol)

i hav these antique peruvian doll thingies that my aunt brought me a long time ago as a souvenior ~ it’s supposed to bring u luck in harmonious friendships, good sex life, good marriage, and wealth. but, the downside is, if you cut off its hair, then it’s supposed to reverse all the luck. so im gonna write antiboa on the dolls and then do it lol

maybe of all these things we r doing, some of them might really work and give him the lesson his deserves.

normally i wouldnt be this cruel, but seems from the posts that Mitsuko is still showing us from that blog site, this antiboa fellow has yet to be anywhere near being regretful or sorry for the offensive things he said

    ——————–

So apparently… Since I’m not a member here (just a lurker for the pictures lol), it’s this “Mitsuko” person who keeps on copying all of Antiboa’s replies onto this forum. Her log in name is “Hikki”, but apparently, there is nobody on PopSeoul who posts under the same name… so I guess it’s still a mystery who the “spy” here is…

    This is rather intriguing…

  48. 48 tokyoseoul November 24, 2008 at 4:48 pm

I think I can say this very objectively because I am neither a huge fan or huge hater of BoA. As someone who has experienced singing live on stage while doing movement, I can hands down say that was a great LIVE performance from BoA. Yes, you can tell she’s tired. Yeah, she’s not spot on. Hey guys, it’s also live, she’s doing most of the choreography, and on the verse, she’s only got her own mic to support her. This doesn’t mean I think she’ll be successful in the states, but I think if one looks at this performance for what it is, I think she did a great job. Not the “best” from BoA, but definitely not bad.

BTW, I think this concept (in terms of her clothing and attitude) fits BoA so much better than the US BoA SM is trying to manufacture. BoA identifies well with “the boyish girl” concept, it’d be nice if they stuck to it. Oh yeah, and her Asia version music video. It owns the US version.

I really do have qualms about the baggy pants, and I did think that the EYU perf needed more energy. :/
    However MeriKuri was awesome. *u*
(LYM WAS MEANT TO BE PERFORMED IN A SKIRT because BoA looks so awkward singing that song in baggy slkjdglkj not-so-good pants XD)
