Recently, Chae Yeon made a surprise appearance on the Mnet show, “My Favorite.” The once-sexy popstar was there to show support for Kim Jong-gook. However, the pop act was quick to admit that they are not close, despite what the netizens think.
Years after the end of the popular show, “X-men” (which they were both cast in), Chae Yeon reluctantly said that she has not kept in touch. On the Mnet show, she further confessed to not knowing his number (yah right) and would contact him through their managers, if needed.
So is the love being reciprocated?
Kim Jong-gook once helped Chae Yeon with her music video before going off to his military service. And at that time, the singer was supposed to take her out. But years have past. He apologized to not taking her out out as promised. Awwww.
We are sure that if he made good on the promise now she would not hesitate to take him up his offer.
So, is this the start of a beautiful relationship? Who knows….
