Rain has recently purchased a 1024 sq m building in Cheongdam-dong, Kangnam for a reported 10 billion won (a bargain basement price of 6.8 million USD due to weak won). The building is valued at 15 billion won but the media reports that his world star status got him a huge discount (yah, right!).
Interestingly, I remember the location of this building since I witnessed a huge ggangpae fight there (big man chasing smaller man chasing girl & man dragged by car) a few years ago. Also, the building is only 20 meters away from his old workplace at JYP Entertainment. If you are interested, the building is located at the first alleyway west of Cheongdam intersection (across from Gucci store).
Already, the building houses Rainy Entertainment, which is run by his father. However, no word yet if J-tunes will be moving in too. If he does, the pink paint needs to go.
Oh god! Korea living standard is so high (usd6.8 million for a small shoplot like this). I wonder how the poor people could survive in korea.
And no wonder you can see most of the singer like big bang or DBSK group usually have someone over exhausted and sent to hospital due to their working environment, poor thing!
To be outstanding you got to be the best and fast and furious in this field. Over these few years, rain had really work damn hard to earned all this money to buy his future retirement.
