Um Junghwa is a better actress than a singer. I love her in most of her dramas. I just wished she just never had played with her face. She’s still gorgeous though.

I think the Madonna comparison is because both stars have managed to stay relevant well into an advanced age by constantly changing their image and adding a sexual edge to their performances.

I think that Perez compared her to Kylie Minogue because of the song’s style. Remember how most of Minogue’s songs are in that retro-disco sounding theme? I don’t think Perez actually knew enough about the history of Kpop to mean it in a way that they were alike in how long or how popular they were in the industry.
Erm… I don’t know if she sings better than Madonna… Uhm Jung Hwa has never been really known for her singing (even when my parents were in college). She’s always been the image, fashion, iconic girl, but never really a great singer.
Of course, same with Madonna, she’s not a ear-catching singer either, but after watching both of their recent live performances… I think Madonna beats Uhm Jung Hwa by an inch or two in singing.
