Shinhwa and H.O.T both wrote their own songs. Big Bang doesn’t focus on choreography as much as other boy band does.

im sorry kara fans but this isnt working for me!!!! i think after the their song “if you wanna” they sorta just died!!! i mean they went i’m a strong girl gonna “break it” to i’m a girly girl who is a “pretty girl”….and i thought snsd was annoying.
all i can say is better than “rock you body say”, which was atrocious, so not saying much
my fav (and only song i like from KARA) song from KARA is “if you wanna”

y do they look like a female version of the 501 boys when they were promoting that “nanananana” song hmmmmm same stylist from the same company…. anyway they do look cute and more fitting for their age….the 1st part of the song reminded me of the opening sone for hana yori dango (japanese version)… looks like fun

OMG…….. Kara is soooooooooooooooooooo awsome singer and I like it their songs and also they have so many colors that the girls sing in the movie and so yeah and they also very pretty girls so yeah.

KARA is always morphing and trying out a new style. I want to see what they experiment with next.

regarding the copying dance moves or the “yeah”, are you friggin serious? trust me I highly doubt SNSD and WG were the ones that created those things. Everything in music has been seen in something else or by someone else. nothing esp. the “Yeah” thing are original.
Why are people so concerned with KARA copying WG, SNSD, etc.? WG, SNSD, and all the other pop groups out there have copied things from past idol groups that you all probably didn’t even know existed. Are you all successful musical artists or are part of the music industry? Have you all created an “original song” that, in no way, copies (or as defenders would say “is influenced by”) another artist’s style? If not, then you really have no right criticizing & hating on these girls or other idol groups about copying one another.
Just because these girls are singing a bubble gum pop song doesn’t mean they are terrible. It should be a fact of life by now that every Korean idol group has to do at least one bubble gum pop song/video in the group’s existence. In fact, it’s almost a marketing ploy now: new idol group with distinct concept, group isn’t successful, group goes on hiatus (sometimes to find new members), group makes a comeback with a bubble gum pop song that has proven to always be a hit single.

It’s alright. Stop comparing them to WG – they aren’t that great. Like, seriously? How could you WG fans actually THINK repeating “I want nobody, nobody but you” 100x throughout the entire song is “talent”? I seriously don’t see it from your POV. WG is just like any other stereotypical girl group – I don’t get why they’re so glorified. Their songs are just repetitions of stupid phrases “So Hot” “Tell Me” “Nobody” … are they even CONSIDERED “hits”?! If they are, then honestly, anyone can be a hit singer.
And SNSD. Not even going to talk about them. I agree that perhaps one or two of them have singing talent – only in ballades, though. Wow, that trot song I heard from them was awful.
Stop comparing people to WG and SNSD just because they have an overly passionate fanbase.
The only girl groups in this generation that I can truly applaud is Brown Eyed Girls, DaVichi, and Seeya. TRUE TALENT right there, and they don’t even need to prove it (aka get their managers to promote them all over the place). They only need their voices to get to the top of the charts, and they’ve proven that the Korean audience is still sane enough to discern good music from bad music.

I’m noticing that a lot of Korean female artists lack talent in performing / dancing. Their voices are decent…nothing spectacular. I think dancing is really important for performers to gain recognition, especially if their singing is not that great.
I think Kpop needs to raise up better dance coaches and trainers.

Bleh…I don’t really like this song. And I agree with Observer…most female singers of Korea aren’t all that good. Even if their dancing was outstanding or whatnot, if they can’t sing well, then they’ll not be recognized for their singing talent – which is what being a singer is mainly (not entirely) about.
