After her debut 10 years ago, Lee Hyori put on quite a show for her first ever solo concert. The pop diva practiced for 2 straight months, often staying up all night, to perfect her dance moves. And because of her busy schedule, and practice sessions, the pop diva checked into the hospital for “mohm-sal” treatment a few days earlier.
However, the show must go on.
In the concept of “dark angel,” Lee Hyori performed 15 songs to a jam packed crowd at Jamsil on December 19th. Guest stars for the night were her girls from Fin.K.L (Sung Yuri, Lee Jin and Ok Joo-hyun), SG Wannabe and Wheesung. For the 2nd concert, the big guest star will be Big Bang.

I’m no fan of this woman but she looks like a decent performer. A good performer is so much better than having a beautiful or high voice or good dancing. At least Hyori is a good performer, unlike, let’s say, Rihanna, who sucks ar singing and dancing and still sucks at performing.

leave her alone man… everyone knows that talent counts for next to nothing in the entertainment business. it’s the kind of thing singers have to do to stay on top. and even if it isn’t and she’s enjoying it, then just let her have her fun. she’s doing incredibly well and i for one am glad that she’s stayed so popular for so long.

I agree, all those mentioned are better than Hyori with the exception of Rihanna. Without the heavy production on her performances, she is nothing but a boring singer, dancer, and performer. Her Vouge performance? Oh please, the performance has a big production already and yet she was as stiff as her hair.

You guys should stop criticizing Hyori just because she’s sexy, slutty or because she sings bad. It doesn’t matter. The fact that she makes it to the top today is from her talent. If you watch Family Outing, you’ll know why people really like her and she has a great personality. On the stage she’s different because she is a singer and that’s her style. But when she’s not, she’s really outgoing and friendly. So, I suggest all the Hyori’s haters or criticizers, you need to stop criticizing her. Also, you need to find out what type of person she is not just that she’s too sexy and slutty on stage. One more thing, she will get married whenever she finds herself a husband. No one has the right to tell her to get married and have a family. That’s her own right! Take Uhm Jung Hwa as an example, she’s almost 40 and she’s not married yet. So, we should stop criticizing her including other celebrities that you don’t like but instead, support them.
