The cast of the highly anticipated drama, “Boys over Flowers” were at hand for the press conference at the Lotte Hotel on December 22nd. Looking like a Christmas present Ku Hye-sun and the rest of the male cast of Lee Min-ho, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Bum and Kim Joon lined up for pictures and took questions from reporters:
Kim Hyun-joong confessed that he was extremely nervous when he had to kiss (and hug) fellow (female) cast mates, Ku Hye-sun and Han Chae-young. He observed that Ku Hye-sun looked particularly pretty at the conference (he must still nervous).
Adapted from a popular Japanese manga, “Boys of Flowers” is expected to air on KBS2 TV on January 5th at 21:55, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Goo Hye Sun is a pretty good actress actually. i watched her on Pure 19 and another one (cant remember the title) and she nailed it pretty good. Boys over Flowers shouldnt be too difficult for her.
on the other hand i worry for SS501’s Hyunjoong. but then again, the character role isnt that far from his character lmao.
lee minho sure likes to take his work home with him.
i like the first two dramas from Taiwan and Japan, so i am really hoping that this is going to be a big hit, especially its Korean and mostly Korean dramas are a hit..
…definitely looking forward to this…goodbye EoE…I really hope this one does better…or at least measure up to the JDorama…can’t say much about the so so MG.

MG may appear dated now but please remember it started the revolution! And the Taiwanese F4 are still the best looking. Having said that I love love the Korean Domyoji. I am not impressed with the guy who’s playing Rui….his hair looks like a wig and he looks like he’s wearing foundation. But he might just be great on the screen. I know the Korean HYD is going to be great because Koreans really know how to do dramas…the production values are so slick. They just don’t do the story well…..it’s always the same thing. But this one’s based on a manga so it’s going to be great.

^^^ umm… fyi, boys over flowers is a direct translation from the Japanese title.
FYI…Meteor Garden was a remake of the Hana Yori Dango movie made by the Japanese in 1995…they even followed the college storyline of said movie…it became popular because it was marketed in Asia while the Japanese movie wasn’t…but to say it started the HanaDan addiction isn’t true…the Japanese also made an animated movie and a drama series besides the movie and don’t forget that the manga was and is still the best selling girl’s manga in Japan and all 36 volumes of it have been translated in several languages even here in the US although not all of the books yet…you have to read the manga first to understand each and every character within the book…Meteor Garden is the official name of the manga when it was released in Taiwan and the live drama took the same title for its series…at least this KDrama version followed the high school storyline and hopefully will be another good one like the JDorama HanaDan.

i watched the 7min trailer today. i’m SOO disappointed with that girl’s acting. she doesn’t have that fierceness makino carries. rather, this girl is just trying to be cute. even when she tries to look angry, it’s the cute angry. looks like she didn’t do her research or didn’t practice enough. i was totally bummed after watching it.
since this was hyun joong’s first time acting, i can only criticize so much because he is after all a newbie. i can only say that there’s plenty of room for improvement. appearance-wise, he really does carry the best rui-like vibe of the three who have portrayed hanazawa rui. shun was completely awesome, but not as good looking as hj..rui is supposed to have more fangirls because he’s supposed to be better looking, right?

Oh boy!! This drama looks classy. They must have spent millions of USD here. They even filmed in Venetian Hotel in Vegas (please correct me if I’m wrong). I’d follow up on this drama for sure. What with all those cute guys…they look dreamy.
