Host and “gagman,” Kang Ho-dong picked up the biggest prize of the night, “Best Performer” at the 2008 KBS Entertainment Awards (2008 KBS 연예대상) for being the leader of the variety/travel program, “2 days, 1 night.” The program boasted 20% viewership in the past year. Other big winners of the night were Jung Eun-a who won for Game Show (Sponge 2.0, Vitamin) and Kim Byong-man for Comedy (Gag Concert).
This is Kang Ho-dong’s first award.

I always watch 2 days/1 night every Sunday at KBS world. Such a funny program. Kang Ho Dong is really funny. He’s got a great sense of humor. I also watch him on youtube in his other variety shows. Great entertainer indeed. Congratulations to KHD, I’m glad he won. He deserves the accolade.
