All my friends, me included, have at one point in time succumbed to the American lifestyle of eating too much and gaining unwanted poundage (10 to 25 pounds). If you check out the portions served at many restaurants, it’s not for 1 but for 2-3 regular sized persons. The amount of food is just crazy. And so without realizing how much you are eating (because everyone else eats a lot), you end up gaining weight. Case in point : BoA
At the year end SBS Gayo Daejun on December 30th, the girl looks like she’s been packing on the pounds on her face. Of course, the big mullet hair is trying to hide the fact, but we spot the fullness in her cheeks. Not that there is anything wrong with looking “healthy,” but if she continues to chow down the American way, the girl is in for a long slippery slope of chunkiness.
But we are sure that SM would never let her reach the full potential of chipmunk-hood.

yeah, american food is fattening boa- her and every other immigrant. it’s not really the portions, but the fact that american food is SO unhealthy- lots of fatty foods, oil, grease, sugar, preservatives, flavorings, too much spices…
or it could be that she’s trying to gain weight to add some curves to her figure, since america is more into full figures than thin ones.
