Korea’s largest broadcasting station, KBS is demanding that the lyrics for Seungri’s first solo effort, “Strong Baby” be changed if he wants to perform on their music programs. Specifically, they find the word, “crack” as inappropriate. And ajusshis at KBS want the word changed to “clap,” which in English can mean one of two things: the verb to “clap” or a venereal disease. And if the pronunciation is bad, then the word “clap” can sound like “crab” which again can mean one of 2 things: the delicious crustacean or another std (which is not delicious). Or worse still, a slight mis-pronunciation can turn the word into “crap” again means 1 of 2 things, a strong expression akin to “sh*t” or a slang for the #2 deed.
So we would like to suggest to KBS to just keep the word “crack.” Besides, Seungri has already performed the G-dragon written song on MBC and SBS.

I think that that would be pretty stupid for KBS to do that. “CRACK!” is just used as a sound affect in the song… Also, if the Korean music industry wants to get into the U.S., we really need to go with the flow with our best effort.
