Without fail, Boa has stated in almost every interview since her U.S. debut that she is lonely and looking for at least a few really close friends.
This is probably a plea for an English speaking boyfriend so she can improve her English vocabulary. But if the ESL student continues to advertise the fact that she wants friends, it will only smell of desperation. And you know that people can smell that stuff a mile away. It doesn’t matter how famous you are, if you are desperate, that’s a turn-off.
BoA also stated that she will put her acting on hold unless a good deal comes in. All I can see is a potential reality show offer from MTV like Paris Hilton’s “My New BFF”.
So for those of you in Los Angeles, keep your eyes open for her, you might be her next best friend.

She’s not desperate, WTH? Popseoul is truly biased.. I mean, when she was in Japan in her first few years, she was also lonely, and stated that she wanted to make more friends. This is pretty much the same situation. Why are you guys exaggerating on it?
If you don’t like BoA then there’s no point typing about her, because all you’re stating is the negative and far from the truth. These pretty much no use, and no one really cares about your opinion.
Like in your previous articles, you stated that “BoA has gained weight!”, I am sure to say that even if she did, no one really minds, as she looks HEALTHY. So what if she gained weight? It’s not like there’s going to be HUGE controversies about it? She’s human! It’s normal for human beings to put on or off weight…
But yeah, in the end she’ll find a best friend just like she did in Japan. So stop making a huge fuss about it…
