Choi Min-ho reaches a milestone with girlfriend

Choiminho_090109

And no it’s not anything dirty….

Olympic gold medalist cutie, Choi Min-ho has reached a milestone in his relationship with his girlfriend-the 100 day mark.

Being the very few to admit to have a girlfriend (because we ain’t that interested in athletes and their love lives), the Judo athlete admitted to the fact on a KBS television program recently.

So, now is the time for a bit of a cultural lesson- what does 100 days mean in a relationship in Korea? Well, it means that the couple are exclusive and will not date other people. How? Well, they will exchange “couple rings” which are worn on the marriage finger (left hand, 4th finger). However, the ironic thing is that guys will wear the ring when going “steady” but will not wear their wedding rings when married. Strange huh?

Oh, and let’s see….100 days….. gold medalist who is set for life….could the girl be a gold digger?

It’s funny how in their prime time or success, they often find someone. With the shaky economy, all I hear is how women don’t care anymore of how good looking, personality, tall, etc. he is–it’s all about $$$ now days. :p

    100-day mark doesn’t mean shi~at.
I never celebrated reaching that point…maybe if it reached a year or two it’ll mean something to me, but 100 days? psh~

If you really love each other you don’t need to reach a hundred days. Heck!! You can get married in a week if you want to. You can even go steady in 365 days but that doesn’t mean anything until the guy proposes. Summing up, HAHAHA is right, 100-day mark doesn’t mean shi~at.

how does being a gold medalist and being “set for life” make you assume his girlfriend might be a gold digger? that’s not nice.

He ain’t bad-looking… Plus he’s superfit, he should be hot stuff among the gals! So sweet, I wanna do that with my guy on our 100th day!

I understand he’s from a poor family. Even if he’s set for life as you say, his GF shouldn’t be labelled a gold digger.
