With the much talked about announcement of their separation in newspapers in December, fans of Suh In-young and Crown J anticipated their final episode on MBC’s “We Got Married” (WGM) which aired January 18, 2009.
Departing in their own “style” aka the “cool style”, the Ant couple did many random events for each other such as the “Thank You” Video, the 321 Red Roses, and the “One Missing Shoe.” These were the top 3 little events that the netizens are still gushing over. In particular, the shoe event has added fuel to the rumor that they are secretly dating and will probably rendezvous in the States.
With probably the highest ratings since the departure of most of the original cast, this final couple’s departure marks the official beginning of season 2 of WGM with the new couples being Dog Poo Couple/R&B Couple: Hwanhee and Hwayobi, Model Couple: Marco and Son Dambi, Campus Couple (CC): Kangin and Lee Yoon-ji, and the newest addition of the yet to be titled couple Jung Hyung -don and Tae Yeon.
Also, a New Year’s special, airing on January 25, 2009, is planned where along with the introduction of the DonYeon couple, the JunJin and Lee Si Young couple as well as the Shin Sung-rok and Kim Shin-young . The couples will be featured on the one episode only. Most likely, the show’s producers probably want to gauge the audience’s reaction to the new couples.

i stopped watching WGM after Joongbo couple left, they kept me after Anbi couple left the show, now Ant couple leaving. all 4 orginal couples left, nothing fun in this show.

totally loved Lettuce and Ant couples. they made WGM worth watching. nowadays, WGM bores the hell out of me. Kangin is trying so hard.

The Ant couple are my favorite couple on WGM. I’m so sad to see them leave but I really hope that they are secretly dating. They have such good chemistry! But I really hate the PD- they keep cutting all the good scenes between Crown J and Seo In Young. And they don’t get much air time anymore. They’re treating Ant couple like how they did to Alex and Shinae.

i think that wat’s good about the old couples is that they really didn’t plan anything about living as a couple as compared to the latest editions who already have an idea of what d show is all about…they are trying hard to show to the audiences romantic scenes and planned out actions that will help them have good images on screen…
wat’s missing now is the sincerity of the couples to show their real identity if they are in fact married in real life…
Truthfully, I grew tired of this couple always fighting (and especially when Hyungdon guy moved in with them into the bigger house).
I think the best time for them to part ways was back during when they asked if the couples wanted to stay or leave (when Andy and Solbi parted ways). That would have been perfect, but I got all bored of them after that.
My fav couple was the Lettuce couple, all due to Hyun-joong’s witty remarks and detached mannerisms.
I think I’m on the 40th episode.
