MBC’s “East of Eden”’s 19 week consecutive reign as top drama has finally been dethroned by KBS‘ “Boys Before Flowers” during the New Year weekend.

Looks like an inauspicious start for the cast of East of Eden in this new year. Oh well, you can’t be number one forever.

Theres too many version from that drama,but still..everytime they made another version people just keep watchn’ it.i just hope theres another drama with fresh story will win.

….still keep watching EOE with fast foward, just because of Myung Hoon..i dont bother with others actor/es…

….and very enjoy with BOF without fast foward….all casts are good….and someday become great(A lister)….hopefully esp Lee Min Ho and Jan Di.

It’s such a shame that EOE lost its throne to BBF. Frankly speaking, I rather re-watch the Japanese version of BBF than to watch BBF. No offense to BBF fans.

It was dragging anyways..I was a huge fan until LDH left and it started getting boring..and then BOF started and I became a fan of that instead.

I am enjoying Boys before flowers so much. I giggle at some of the cute funny things w/c reminds me of my youth! Lee Min ho is so charming. I watch with passion the performance of Park Hae Jin as Myun Hun in EOE. DC/YR spoils the plot

ha, lol, this is what they get for treating ldh the way that they did. sorry, still some bitterness here for ldh and YAY!!! for BOF. compared to EOE’s star-studded cast, they’re doing unbelievable. can’t believe they beat out EOE. i’m happy for them. let’s just hope no more accidents happen for the cast.

I don’t think LDH has to do with the ratings. I personally think that after LDH left the show got better. I think that EOE’s rating flunk a little because BOF is also a good drama. I love both dramas so I have no problem with who has better ratings.

Frankly I find EOE story plot too messy. Don’t find Lee Yeon hee acting convincing. She is the worst in EOE compared to the other good actors and actress.moreover She is not new to the industry . Has been acting in films and dramas since 2004. I am happy BOF is the top rating now. Bim Bum and the rest of F4 is cute. Kim bum is good as young LDC. Lost interest ewhen SSH took over with his limited acting expression.

Ya did not like the DC YR plot.The girl cannot act.Watched EOE because of MH.BOF is cute and funny- remind me of my younger days. handsome bunch of boys.

I’m not surprised with all the mediocre dramas lately. It’s like winning the gold medal in the specials Olympics. Good job LMH for luring all the teenage girls by being a cold-hearted but hot looking prince. Wait- hasn’t this been done before?

i was (seriously) on the verge of tear falling when i saw the ratings of ep 8 (too emotional tsk tsk)…so happy for the 25% and now aiming for the 30% range (what am i saying, its not like the ratings depends on me)

Boys over flowers is a VERY GOOD and enjoyable drama ..
East of Eden focuses too much on actor (??) and actress (??) who has limited acting abilities
