Do you remember this controversial outfit Big Bang’s G-Dragon wore during the 2008 Mnet 20’s Choice Awards? And for those that don’t yes it does have “69″, I heart sex” and “F*ck you too” written on it.
In their recently released book, G-Dragon defends his choice of clothing in what is a illogical argument. Just like his music is an expression of himself, the “crack crack crack” songwriter says his clothes are a “form of expression”. Oh wait, isn’t that what we said earlier? But G-dragon tried to save himself by stating that he will be more careful over his clothing choices since he does not want the youngins to get the wrong idea.
Looks like this pop act needs to choose his words more carefully. However, the sad fact is that everyone will probably eat it up by saying they understand and give him the sympathy vote.

You should embrace sex. It’s most fundamental to existence of human race, and it’s sacred form of sharing pleasure between loved ones. Why should you not love sex? If you think that phrase will have negative effect on the youngsters, you’re no better than doctors who diagnosed orgasm as a disease back in 18th Century.
The only problems are with illegal form of sex, whether it is underage, prostitution or rape. However that shirt is not promoting any of it. It’s simply saying I love sex which is perfectly normal.
moving on to 69, If sexual position has popped to your mind as a first thing looking at it, you probably have perverted mind. It could just be plain number 69, year 69 or whatever the heck it may represent. It is up to the viewer’s interpretation. Moreover, there is nothing wrong with 69 sexual position. It’s not like it’s illegal or anything. I don’t think many people know what 69 position is anyway.
The only part that may be controversial is ‘XXck you’ part, which I’m sure would have been an issue in US as well, but it’s not like many people in Korea understand what it means. It’s not unusual to listen to songs with explicit lyrics that goes ‘xxck you too’, ‘I wanna xxck you’ in public places in Korea but no one really cares as they don’t understand. I’ve heard it a few times ice skating in Korea a while back.

I don´t quite get this.. why aren´t he allowed to wear what the hell he wants when he clearly know that he has an own sense of style and don´t wear whatever the stylist put him on. I think it´s a really good thing that an artist for once wear the clothes he/she finds himself in, for example FT Island, I doubt that those boys know exactly all the hardships and sorrows a man have to go through when it comes to non-happy ending lovestories, though they sure are acting as if they knew.. GD knows his style and his music, very well, and it´s nothing wrong with that, just a plus, since too many of the singer´s DO NOT KNOW. As for sex, what humanbeing dislike sex?, it´s a natural thing, it would be another thing if it was labeled: I heart KOREANS, now, that would be kinda racist or something.. but sex is controversal and it doesn´t matter if you´re yellow, black or white to have a right to take part in that statement… I don´t see anyhting wrong with that text, in my country it´s kinda natural for children from the age of 8 to already know what sex is.. in many asian-countries there have been lots of problems with grown-up women/men not knowing what sex is or where the baby comes from. My friend didn´t even talk with her mom bout the female menstruation so when she got it, she thought she was dying, poor girl…
and why would popseould be kinda against ppl forgiving another person for apologizing and explain himself, it´s also a natural thing to do.. if we weren´t able to forgive and give some symhpaty as if that was tabu, then the world-peace would be at a high risk I tell ya…
I see no reason for bashing bout this topic regarding GD´s style, doesn´t matter if u like his style or not, cos personally I sometimes wonder if GD thought thoroughly before dressing himself, but I do respect his style and what´s HIS… the uniqueness shouldn´t be critizised… DE GUSTIBUS NON EST DISPUTANDUM= ONE SHOULD NOT DISCUSS BOUT THE TASTE….

Aww..I love G-dragon and usually love his style but having that stuff on your shirt is..too much. He has younger fans in Korea AND the United States. I bet alot of teens in Korea know bad stuff in English when they see it. They probably look this stuff up to sound cool in English. I hate to admit it but…dressing like this was just stupid. Even if he is famous.
