Rain’s magic stick was of no use when the Hawaiian courts ruled that he and ex-management company, JYP Entertainment had committed fraud and breach of contract. Together, Rain and JYPE must pay up 8.086 million USD in damages to local promoter, Click Entertainment.
At least it’s not 40 million USD.
Out of the 8 million USD, Rain is responsible for more than 3 million USD and JYPE has to pay the rest.
What’s a few million for a “world star” like Rain? All he has to do a few more CFs and make a few more albums to cover the damages.
No biggie, right?
Rain abruptly canceled only a few days before his first stop in his U.S. tour on June 17th 2007.

Poor Rain. =/ I really don’t think that artists have THAT much say at their concerts. If management says they’re not allowing you on… I don’t think you can go on. JYP would have probably sued him for breaching something if he had… he was between a rock and a hard place, me thinks.
