Lee Jin-wook, the younger boyfriend of cougar, Choi Ji-woo, will be leaving for his military service on May 6th.
The 28 year old confessed that he is actually volunteered to begin his training earlier than scheduled. Why? Is he trying to run away from his demanding girlfriend? Well, we don’t know.
The answer lies in a recent interview, where he stated, “As a male citizen of Korea, the military is something all men must experience so I didn’t hesitate to go earlier. I want to come back having learned and experienced new things through my time in the military.” Sure. Sure.
Before he leaves for his 6 week training, Lee Jin-wook will have a fan meeting with his Japanese fan’s at the Hangang River park in Korea.
Not that we at POPSEOUL have any problems with Japan but seriously, what is up with these male celebrities and ending their activities before joining the military in Japan or with their Japanese fans? What about their Korean fans? Do their fans in Korea not make them enough money?
On a side note, everyone in Korea seems to be more curious about whether his girlfriend Choi Ji-Woo will be there on the day he enlists.

a 6 year age difference does not make her a cougar… If he were six years older than her no one would even blink. Now is she were 16 years older I would find that interesting.

I don’t think they have a problem with their relationship. People presume too much, no facts at all. 6 years doesn’t make a woman a cougar. Lots of celebrities have boyfriends much older than CJW (i.e. Uhm Jung Ha, Madonna (her boyfriend is 27 yrs. younger), Demi Moore (husband is 15 yrs. younger), R. Travis wife is 20 yrs. older, H. Jackman’s wife is 8 yrs. older & many more celebrities. Even some of my friends are married to much younger men & they are all happily & successfully married. Let’s just leave people alone, whatever makes them happy. The earlier LJW enter the military service, the earlier he’ll come back to civilian life. Maybe, the Japanese fans are more loyal or brings more income, who knows. Good luck Jin Wook.
