Song Hye-kyo stretches for Levis

Songhyekyo_0428_5

No one is perfect. At least not Song Hye-kyo.

Although her pretty face might be enough to get her acting roles, the legs are obviously not good enough for the magazines. And how she got chosen to represent a leggy jeans brand “Levis”, we have no idea. Each time an ad is shot, her legs undergoes a photoshop treatment.

So if you have short stumps but a pretty face, rest assured that you can be a star too.

Song Hye-kyo is featured in the Levis ads in the May 2009 issue of Nylon Magazine (Korea)

She may not be leggy, but she’s beautiful nonetheless.

she has short legs rain has long legs…that’s how they filmed full house to fool netizens by false images… the tall n the short … equally bad boy+bad girl image… what a scandalous pair from one co-star to anor … bef4 she can recover from one heartache/heartbreak off to anor lover arms …where’s her so-call sweetness or cuteness gone to waste…

It was indeed obvious that popseoul is anti song hye kyo. They bash her everytime they write something about her. Come on! The girl is only doing her job.Besides, It isn’t her fault if she was born with short legs. The company had chosen her because she is the best one to represent their product. When you popseoul had insulted her height, you had also insulted majority of asian people. Don’t you know that the majority of them have the same height as hers. Are you saying popseoul that only tall and slim people have the right to become model or artists? Stop that discrimination please!!!!!!

well she ain’t the only one that gets photoshopped for magazines. None of the models you see in the mag look like that in real life, they were ALL PHOTOSHOPPED, not just for leg lengthening but certain body parts and the face gets airbrushed too.

  9. 9 julychronicles April 29, 2009 at 11:53 pm

well, she still looks normal. and yeah, every model in the world undergoes photoshop..she’s no exception

Ugh !! why does popseoul has to criticize everyone.. this is quite annoying.. anyways, she looks way preety and no one cares about height anyways..

  14. 14 jane. April 30, 2009 at 3:57 am

She’s gorgeous but obviously photoshop can do wonders to the legs.

  15. 15 jellies April 30, 2009 at 7:59 am

Who cares about the legs when she’s got a killer body and gorgeous face! I’d be more than happy to be short and beautiful!

  16. 16 kagero26 April 30, 2009 at 11:34 am

stop making her more that what she is…all she is a exactly what u all have been saying, just another pretty face. She gives the same expressionless face in all her shoots! She’s so vapid and uninteresting :-X

Why would some of you kill to look like her, all she is just another pretty face, and that’s it!

Sure, some of the pictures are new, and pretty, but she’s clearly not model material.

  17. 17 felisshi April 30, 2009 at 2:55 pm

True, she’s pretty. True too, she’s not model material. I think she’s too short to be modeling clothes.

  18. 18 `KyLaa<3 April 30, 2009 at 3:59 pm

    Wow she’s really pretty ;D
And who cares if she’s short?

Gives her more of a cute image ^^
    How tall is she?

SOoOoO BEAUTIFULL .. she is really getting prettier by the day .. & what is it with popseoul ?? always bashing her ?? when U can’t say anything about her face because it’s perfect U move to her legs !! .. jealousy can make people say nonsense ..

It was Levi’s, not Popseoul, who “insulted majority of Asian people” by editing those images to make beautiful Song Hye-gyo’s legs appear longer, thus sending the message to tens of millions of Korean women and girls that short legs are not attractive. Pop Seoul didn’t criticize Song Hye-gyo for having short legs. It criticized the ad for grossly misrepresenting her natural beauty. IMO, naturally short legs look much more attractive than unnaturally stretched out ones.

It is especially troubling to see the Korean media alter the images of Korean women to give them longer legs and rounder booties, for not even the most skilled plastic surgeons can safely endow women with these attributes.

“Pop Seoul didn’t criticize Song Hye-gyo for having short legs. It criticized the ad for grossly misrepresenting her natural beauty.”

If so, why is it that song hye kyo is the one that they are criticizing in an indirect manner. Popseoul insinuated something about song hye kyo about how she got chosen to represent “Levis”. Just take a look at the premise. See? Popseoul is even questioning her acting capabilities….so what do you think the readers would think of? Come on, it was clearly song hye kyo, not levis.

I have gone through lots of reviews for her but never found something like this.I think a brand like this knows what they are doing. Some people simply try to show others down because they suffer from some kind of complex or we can say trying to help some advertisers to sell their products.
