On the SBS “A night of Entertainment” program on May 13th, Lee Hyori confessed, “I have a more mature type of beauty whereas Son Dambi is more fresh….but I exude more glamour…”
But she also added:
I don’t understand why men get all shy around me…..I need to change my personality into something softer so that guys will like me more…and also kill my temper so that I am more approachable.
The 30 year old pop diva can start by eating some humble pie.

Whats wrong with saying you have are more glam than someone else? I also agree Son Dam Bi excudes more of a Fresher/party style aura whilst with Hyori’s activities, her concept is more glam and sexy than Bambi’s. I love both Bambi and Hyori but whenever someone compliments themselves I always see stupid commments like “oh she’s so big-headed/not humble enough” WHAT TO THE EVER.
It’s hard to tell the context without watching the clip. Since the screen captures don’t suggest she’s joking, then she’s probably simply comparing herself matter of factly. Like describing the niches of hers and Dambi’s.
However, in terms of personality. Hyori isnt glam. She’s a sexy dork haha

Dambi, and neither I nor Hyori is saying this is a bad thing, is more fresh looking, pretty. Whereas, Hyori is more ‘hot’.
People got to remember that bragging is the name of the game. All big stars are expected to hype up themselves and say they are best. Look at all those other stars like Solbi and Seo In Young who also brag on shows. The producers will script up something for the girls to say about themselves compared to another star just to get publicity.
There you have it:
Star A says she better than Star B on Show C and the outcome is A, B, and C getting a lot of publicity.

FIRST of all you people don’t know what your talking about. She didn’t say she more glamorous she said she has more of a mature charm than dambi and yes I do agree with that. Ohh she doesn’t have too be humble about it if she asked during the interview and WTFF with the jealously stuff?!? Hyori doesnt have too be jealous of dambi. she isn’t even at the same level as hyori. Can you tell me what song comes to mind when you think about dambi and what comes to mind when hyori mentioned?! And yes dambi does have some talent but really she can’t sing. Her voice is weaker, have you listen too any other song from her that didnt have a tech or trance influenece?!
Lee Hyeori is beautiful and I love her without make-up, but the girl cannot dance to save her life. I suppose wearing the biggest high heels you can find while prancing around on stage doesn’t help…I think she can be way too over the top sometimes and I do not think she is any more glamorous than son dam bi.
Son dam bi in my opinion is prettier than lee hyeori, but she can’t dance either. I love who son dam bi has become and I think that she is getting better and better as an artist. Perhaps, lee hyeori thinks she is more glamorous and not as fresh as son dam bi because she is not in the limelight right now, so she needs to get attention some how.
