Former 1Tym member turned producer, Teddy, has passed the offer of working out a track for Lady GaGa.
Insane right? Well it seems that his commitment to his YG Family was stronger because the offer came in around the time he was helping 2NE1 with their debut song, “Fire”. It seems YG and Teddy met Jimmy Lovine of Interscope Records, that not only manage Lady GaGa but also notable names such as the Black Eyed Peas and Eminem.
It seems 2NE1′s debut has caused Teddy to reject many offers from different companies. At least they’re paying him back with the number one spot once again in various music charts.

I think passing the offer is okay, Lady Gaga is awesome, I like her.
I think it would have been amazing if they would work together, but I also think that 2NE1 is his priority. He probably had this first in his long list of commitments so I don’t mind.

she has personality and street cred and to go with her music.. any Korean contenders like BoA are trained monkeys as are typical Kpop stars, spend formative years in confinement under the whip, do what JYP, SM say, follow orders to the T, like study the ‘How to be Black for Dummies’ 24 volume encyclopedia set, 30 minute break for chitlins, no kimchi allowed in da house, don’t talk to the media without permission, stand at attention, regimented failures, in the west anyway

It’s not crazy. He’d make a whole lot of more money with 2NE1, because the kpop nowadays doesn’t require anything to be of great quality to sell. Most folks who listen to kpop buy into the weakest stuff and make it number one. Western countries are different.
