It’s only been about four months since SHINee stopped their promotion for “A.Mi.Go,” and the boys in the skinny jeans are back stronger than ever. Even if their revamped flamboyant image and the song “Juliette” was kind of a let-down, their comeback stage on Music Bank was no disappointment. This rookie group, despite donning fake manes around their neck, knows how to thrill on stage as the choreography was sleek and their voices did not falter, completely hiding the fact that they might have lip-synced the whole thing.
And if performing a comeback stage to such good reception wasn’t enough, SHINee ousted their SM sunbaes Super Junior for this week’s #1 spot. After which, Jong-hyun, who composed the lyrics for “Juliette,” promptly broke down into manly tears and pretty much had a panic attack. He had a hard time containing himself to the point of it being both endearing and extremely hilarious to watch.
On a side note, are DaVichi, SeeYa, and Ji-yeon wearing a pink towel wrapped with a striped bow? These girls have the vocal ability (except Ji-yeon) to put everyone else to shame, but they need to stop trying so hard with the cutesy sex appeal.

I’m really not feeling the wardrobe for this performance at all! The only bearable ones are Onew and Minho. Other than that…*sigh* hahaha. It’s nice to see them back again though…and winning! ^^

I have a confession to make. I like SHINee, and not in the way Jo Kwon likes men, but in the way I like early 90s MJ, which this band sounds a lot like.
Now if they would only be honest with their fans and all come out of the closet it would be great.

Yea, it’s Key with the extreme hair makeover. I do think that the performance was live though, because Key cracks a bit at one point and you can hear other things like MinHo’s breath at the end of his rap, etc. I was extremely happy with the quality of the vocals, especially TaeMin who seems to have improved greatly. I just wish that in the parts that are supposedly designated to TaeMin and MinHo, I can actually hear MinHo’s voice coming out instead of just watching him mouth the words. I really wasn’t that impressed when I first saw the performance, but it seems more amazing every time I re-watch it. =)
AH JONGHYUN and your panic attack. I love him, but I swear it sounds like he’s having a near-death experience. Even when his mic is away from his mouth, you can hear the scream/cry faintly through the other mics around him. CONGRATS GUYS!

being and obsessed SHINee fangirl, i can tell they didn’t lipsync through the whole thing. you can tell some tone difference from the recorded song, and live, and hear some breathing.
