Se7en and 7? Is that a coincidence?
After denying their relationship for the past 7 years and the last scandal that erupted, Se7en has finally grown the balls to admit that he’s taken. On the 9th, Se7en made a post on his Cyworld home page titled, ‘I’ll tell you everything’. In the post Se7en stated,
I Choi Dong-wook and actress Park Han-byul have been in a more than friend relationship since our pre-debut days which makes it 7 years since we’ve been together as a couple. I apologize for always having denying and quieting down rumors of our relationship with the excuse of being nothing more than friends. We’ve been classmates ever since our last year in high school and even after our debut we progressed into a couple by supporting each other.
It sure took him a long time to finally admit the truth to his fans. Seems like most of his fans in Korea are taking it well just as we presumed because they have been leaving supportive messages on the pop star’s Cyworld home page. What a lucky girl Park Han-byul is- not only does she have Se7en as her boyfriend but now they can openly date whenever and wherever they want. Congratulations to Se7en for finally handling the situation like a man.
But what man takes 7 years to admit to a relationship? Hopefully his luck won’t run out with his lady love.

i’m pretty sure that it was a mutual decision to keep the relationship on the down low, otherwise it would not have lasted that long ..

maybe because when he first debuted, single good looking men will be more successful with female fans. (still the way it is now). And 7 years ago, his fans were still teenagers – young immature females ?? Just my thought,.. . I bet many of his fans has taken the news much better now than they would have 7 years ago

Eh good for them. Although I wouldn’t be too hasty about the whole thing. Se7en and Park Han-byul may have wanted to come out about their relationship for several years now, but management has kept it hushed up. I can’t help but feel that the management only pulled it out to keep him in the Kpop world cause he’s fading so quickly out of it. Either that, or they’re prepared to get engaged/married so it’ll be good to “Come clean” before they actually do get hitched (or she’s pregnant?!).
Everything you said in your post is right on point..cause his fanbase is FEMALES…so a tight lip on the relationship..best of luck to the both of them..now watch the relationship is out to the public…Good when it was quiet..but now out in the open. they’ll break up..It happens..

But truth be told he wasn’t a very nice guy he even asked if he could just skip out on his fan meeting/signing =\
