As if the ‘Gee’ craze wasn’t enough for us already, Girls Generation will be back with their 2nd mini-album on June 22nd.
For their new track ‘Genie’, SM Entertainment’s main composer Yoo Young-jin worked hand in hand with European composer(s), ‘Dsign Music’. A representative of SM Entertainment stated that ‘Genie’ is a bright and energetic song with lyrics that describe the busy and depressing life that people encounter each day. So basically like the ‘HaHaHa’ campaign they recently took part in, Girls Generation is hoping they will lift the spirits of their depressed “ahjussi” fans. Doesn’t sound much different from their recent hit song, ‘Gee’, but more than likely ‘Genie’ will end up being another hit song.

Remember their first debut, I forgot the song, but they wore those mini skirts that showed their asses and they had those lollipops? What are they implying? And they are suppose to be IDOLS?! Then they started the GEE craze, which I admit is a catchy song. HOWEVER they continued with the slutty concept (short shorts that shows their asses and short shirts that shows their bellies). Now this. The sailor concept? I saw some photos from their rumored MV set, and when you put sailor outfits, exotic MV set, and “GENIE” together, what do you get? PORN! The girls are obviously not doing their jobs as IDOLS, but just sex icons.
