…of upcoming tvN cable drama, “Apku-jung Diary.”
Go Eun-ah, Jun Hae-bin, Amy and Hwang Seung-un have been cast as the “it” girls for the new “trendy” drama, “Apku-jung Diary,” an adaptation of the 2008 bestseller chick-lit book by Jung Su-hyun. “Apku-jung Diary” will draw out the stories of four fashion-forward, chic young women about their love lives, friendships, and future in the extravagant locales of Apku-jung and Chung-dam Dong.
This will be Jun Hae-bin’s official comeback since her last role in the SBS drama “Scale of God,” eight months ago. It looks like the actress couldn’t get any work from the mainstream broadcasting companies, so she had to resort to the cable program for work. Looking at the line-up of actresses, especially Amy, viewers most likely won’t be tuning in to watch their jaw-dropping acting.
So to make up for that little acting issue, the writers of the drama are promising to show viewers what fashion is like in the trendy cities of Korea. In order to do so, top-of-the-line stylists will coordinate all the fashion and props for the drama, and viewers will also get a chance to see the hot-spots of Apku-jung and Chung-dam Dong. The first episode of “Apku-jong Diary” is set to air this coming July 17th.
Are you looking forward to this Korean “Sex in the City”-esque drama?

Wow, this is a joke. Four C-list stars who couldn’t find anything better to do…
omg….amy has the most unique features I have ever seen…those eyes are something!
let me say this for once: first.
so many fashion-oriented dramas popping up lately.
second: i agree with wow.
third: this show (despite the obviusly huge effort) still doesn’t sound that interesting to me.
“Are you looking forward to this Korean “Sex in the City”-esque drama?”
No, not really.
Apgujeong-dong and Chungdam-dong are neighbourhoods, not cities.
amy looks cross-eyed
this is kinda pathetic…agree with the first comment
amy looks ugleh in the pic.
“in the extravagant cities of Apku-jung and Chung-dam Dong.”
Apgujeong and Cheongdamdong are not cities. They are neighborhoods in the city of Seoul.
I hope they’re good; fashion-wise!
))
Apkujungdong, while an interesting place to live, is not photogenic at all. Does not have an iota of the appeal of NYC. I lived in the monolithic buildings right behind the Galleria Shopping Center. All the buildings are grey and block-like and without much charm.
The heart and soul of the place is in the interactions… so at least a minimal of acting will be required, as the visuals won’t carry the show.
hahhahahaha yeah I was about to say that too!!!!!
The chick with the coconut hair looks cross-eyed
amy… is not that cute.
soooo i’m guessing her daddy paid her into this drama, which seems like her everyday life story anyways?
i agree…right away it sounded like “sex in the city” the korean version.. hey at least fashion will be in there…
err lipstick jungle/cashmere mafia/sex in the city.
just a tad unoriginal
ho hum…..
Maybe if there was actually an actress I knew, I’d watch it!
i’ll give it a shot. Who knows, it might be a fun drama.
I dislike two of the girls and the other two i don’t know…..
S. Korea can do so much better than coming up with these four bimbos as the “IT” girls. aren’t there prettier girls out there who have better plastic surgeons? damn. i am disappointed!
The second girl’s name is not Jun hae bin…It’s Jeon Hye Bin..She’s the one who sang 2AM and was in Lets go to School Sang Doo with Rain…
Oh snishizzles! That’s Go Eunah??? lol I didn’t know that. Nice
