Wondergirls are ready for America

Wondergirls_090724a

The Wondergirls are ready.

The five member girl group checked out the Jonas Brothers’ first concert performance in Arlington, Texas in their “Nobody” outfits on June 20th. The girls will kick off their first opening act on June 27th in Portland, Oregon for their thirteen city tour. On the same day, the English versions of the hit tracks, “Tell Me” and “Nobody” will be released as digital singles. I know you’re looking forward to that. *cough*

i dont mind them wearing costumes for onstage performances and whatnot but why cant they wear something that’s flattering for them?

  2. 2 yunjae-thelove; June 25, 2009 at 3:47 am

As much as i love the WG girls,i don’t think they should come out in that outfit and wigs.
i don’t think this is something the fans of the Jonas bros would like or be interested in.
they should just dress in their normal clothes or fancy princessy outfits…that might appeal to the young fans of JB.

  3. 3 ^_________^ June 25, 2009 at 4:09 am

They shouldn’t wear anything at all if they wanna start off with a bang.

  10. 13 lady June 25, 2009 at 10:04 am

WG fans need to go to some of the concerts to show support even if they don’t like JB. I wish they would’ve performed in Arlington, TX then I would’ve gone for sure.

  11. 14 leah June 25, 2009 at 10:23 am

I want to be positive but I’m thinking the WG will be laughingstocks.

  12. 15 JJ June 25, 2009 at 10:36 am

I’m pretty sure they won’t get a good reception in America… their style of music isn’t ‘in’ right now. At my school a group of Korean girls did one of their songs (for international week) and danced to the music and in Korea it would have been a hit but here everyone was laughing at them because it was so “Pokemon” style cute with maple-syrup-on-top which is popular in korea but not here- they just looked…well kind of sad. I hope they do well but also have a feeling they might be disappointed…

    • 16 csherbertz13 August 5, 2009 at 10:33 am

it may not b “IN” 2 u..but to a lot of other ppl it is..korean ppl…and why shuld u guys make fun of it?…its someone else’s culture..i wuld just call that rude..and im a popular person who loves all the popular music and stuff…and i thought their songs wer pretty cool

  13. 17 nadia June 25, 2009 at 10:48 am

I hope they can sing english better in other song

  14. 18 ehsna June 25, 2009 at 1:10 pm

WONDER GIRLS FIGHTING!!!! I hope nobody messes up.. I mean the girls not the song! LOL.

  15. 19 eeek June 25, 2009 at 2:18 pm

    These girls make me cringe!

    • 20 Pshh June 25, 2009 at 3:20 pm

Atleast they’re gorgeous money making individuals while you.. have nothing on them. So go away

      • 21 Coffy73 June 25, 2009 at 4:12 pm

Typical WGs fan response. Either shut up or go away. The second they hear criticisms, they’re sticking their fingers in their ears, saying “I can’t hear you, I can’t hear you” like little children! Every artist has their critics, grow up and deal with it, especially when you’re talking about this group. God, they are awful!

        • 22 C.Han June 25, 2009 at 8:08 pm

There’s a difference between a critique and just saying they suck.

          • 23 Tin June 26, 2009 at 2:10 am

Nah, with a simple group like the WGs, it’s better to cut to the chase. Why break it down with rambling sentences discussing why they sound so bad, or how they’re a perfect example of manufactured bubblegum pop. They’re not worth long critiques.

        • 24 csherbertz13 August 5, 2009 at 10:34 am

ur stupid..why dont U shut up?

  16. 25 Gracey June 25, 2009 at 5:18 pm

I want to go to their concert so bad!!!! they are coming where i live for 2 days but 1) i don’t like the Jonas Brothers and 2) getting tickets to a JonasBrothers concert is very very difficult…..
my friends are going though to i hope they have fun and take pictures for me!!!

  17. 26 D June 26, 2009 at 12:28 am

Hahaha Nice! It looks like they got a tan to come perform in the US!

  18. 28 wth June 26, 2009 at 3:26 am

ugh. I still hate their outfits. They should just leave their normal hair and clothes.

  19. 29 onMy! June 26, 2009 at 5:01 am

I hate the Jonas bros, whatever their name is, but i just want to see the Wonder girls….They’ll only open their tour. Can’t wait though, they’ll be more popular.

  20. 30 ramonerz June 26, 2009 at 6:33 am

i think they should remove the wigs ^^,
they;re beautiful w/ their natural looks

  21. 31 xawesomexmex June 26, 2009 at 8:02 am

  22. 32 miira-chaan June 26, 2009 at 4:22 pm

    the stadiums huge..the stage’s sooo small…

    ??!o.0

  23. 33 +_+ June 27, 2009 at 6:37 pm

I actually love WG, but the wigs and costumes can make them receive bad comments from the people who’ll watch them as front act for the JoBros concert. They look a little “unflattering” in those wigs and costumes.

American people have different trends now and then and it’ll be hard for the WG to not have bad comments ’bout their clothing and wigs that they’ll be wearing in the concert.

They are really beautiful and talented, so why not be super fashionistas in America?

    Wonder Girls Fighting!! Aja!

  24. 34 WG's Hwaiting June 28, 2009 at 3:46 pm

Actually guys, the Wonder Girls didn’t perform in those wigs and outfits. They wore their dresses from the Nobody tango version and normal hairstyles :]. the pictures are on: http://kimyoobin.wordpress.com/2009/06/28/pics-wg-at-jonas-brothers-portland-concert/

    they looked great!

  25. 35 WG's Hwaiting June 28, 2009 at 3:49 pm

  26. 37 d-wonder-of-u July 14, 2009 at 11:36 am

i thought they recorded it in English. why does it sound chinese-korean? couldn’t understand a single word. pathetic! tsk..tsk..

    • 38 csherbertz13 August 5, 2009 at 10:36 am

…shut up!…they came from korea like a cuple months ago..u expect them to speak perfect american accent? if u do then u must b pretty stupid

  27. 39 laura kpop fan August 4, 2009 at 3:18 am

I am so excited to find out that they will be opening up for the Jonas Brothers when I see them in concert!

  28. 40 Rachel August 11, 2009 at 6:20 am

These girls were at the Jonas Brothers concert last night in LA. Simply awful. I lived in Seoul for two years and I can see that people there might like this sort of thing..but it is just simply terrible and did not belong with the incredible talent of the Jonas Brothers. I can’t believe they agreed to have them there.
