Girls Generation has finally released the MV for their new song, “Genie,” and it won’t disappoint the ahjusshis at all. Initially, the song itself didn’t impress me, but after watching the MV, it sounds like a summer hit. The concept of the MV surrounds the nine girls separating into three groups and throwing different little parties for one guy, who is made to be the viewer themselves. The choreography is slightly disappointing, but if you love long legs, you won’t mind at all
Talk about appealing to the male fantasy of having three girls to yourself with either a pillow fight, pretty girls in little black dresses, and a girl popping out of a cake.
too much fanservice for pervie sone out there,, and wats with the bed-scene?? it ruins the intro–which weird already.
i guess I’ll keep listening to 4minute nd… so over SNSD’s genie. cant believe they won mubank though.. ~_~
I think it’s not bad – Both the song and the vid, not as catchy as Gee duh … (sick of this song already) but still not bad ^^
And the choreography … yeah not that great …

Uhhhh….. Genie isn’t as catchy as Gee because Genie isn’t suppose to be a catchy song lol. But yea, i agree with you though. The song is not bad. I like it, it’s just that it hasn’t grown on me yet.

Wow. Lots of negative comments. Well… The girls are stepping into a new image/style and they’re trying their best at it. After awhile it’ll get better ^^ The girls look stunning with their new hair style and the image works. The video.. Not bad. The cake was unexpected. Can’t belieave they got that idea. There’s one girl that appears alot. I’m a fan but i dont remeber their names yet. Taking a guess its Tiffany >.< lolz. The song is slowly growing on me but Gee is a bit more catchy. Honestly…I don’t like the music, choreography, the clothes…who are they trying to fool? Are they trying to be sexy? They have no curves, they’re way too skinny! If you consider a board sexy you have a sight problem!Lee Hyori is sexy ’cause she got curves! I liked them more on Gee (love that song and they are cute in it!). I mean I like all the girls (except Tiffany, since she said what she said about Super Junior not being a real group, she has been on my black book, but all the others are cute – CUTE not SEXY!)
Gosh. 99% of the choreography is showing off their legs. Okay — I UNDERSTAND that they have daym long legs but I think it’s just trying too hard to be sexy.
