I know it’s only been a couple of hours since the preview was released, but BAM here is the full song.
Admittedly, I initially felt “I Don’t Care“ was too big of a departure from 2NE1’s previous style for me to really take this seriously, and I don’t have any particular bias toward them. After listening to the full track though, I admit that this song is catchy in a low-key R&B way. The girls have shed their previous street image, but they are still coming off as fierce. Not sure how much I like the slight echo effect, but this a strong, modest effort from 2NE1 transitioning between styles. This is a solid song with a very cool vibe fit for sweltering summers.
In other news, starting July 2nd, the girls will be featured in an Mnet channel documentary as a part of their YGTV special.

i really don’t like how CL has her own lines in the beginning of each song, pretty annoying. if you listen to the end of her rap at the end of the song, it sounds exactly like “fire”. other than that, its a good song. their hard engrish is at work though with the “cay” instead of “care” but hey, what can ya do…

I love this. Cool song. And the thing with having been influenced by a lot of American music is that it gets harder to sound original. But you can’t just throw away all your material only because you realized this certain part is same as another song.

Sure they “sampled” the drum beat from Kingston, but he probably sampled it from something else. More likely, his producers sampled it from someone else.
Kanye does it all the time, none of his beats are completely “original” so why kick up a fuss now?
i agree. singers/artists, not only Koreans, but ALL of them copy. Almost every singer has, so it really does not matter anymore. BUT the face that these girls CAN sing is UNDENIABLE!!
