On June 30th, Hallyu stars, Song Seung-hun, Choi Ji-woo, Kang Ji-hwan and Rain attended the tape cutting event for the opening of Star Avenue at the Lotte World in Jamsil.
Star Avenue is a showcase/museum where wardrobe, props, personal belongings, etc. of select Hallyu stars will be displayed in each star showcase for fans to see. Fans can also interact with the Hallyu stars of their choice by visiting the Star Center, where they can send personal E-fanletters. It doesn’t end there, there is also a Music Star Center where there is an extravagantly decorated and lighted stage for visitors to experience what it would feel like to be a singer on stage. There’s two additional centers which enables visitors to have a hands on experience of what it feels like to be a star that have yet to be revealed.
There are currently nine star showcases set up at Star Avenue, which includes, TVXQ, Rain, Big Bang, Park Yong-ha, Song Seung-hun, Kang Ji-hwan, Choi Ji-woo, Ji-sung and IKKO. Star Avenue, a new concept entertainment experience cultural center will be open to the public beginning July 1st.

Well, isn’t Hallyuwood going to do the same thing but in a theme park setting? Maybe there will a walk of fame of Hallyu actors/singers and actors/singers before Hallyu–after all, there are still actors working that are not in the spotlight but have done work for long time.

Yea, Rain is friendly with other Korean stars…He’s very good friends with all the g.o.d. members, Bbaeka, and Cha Tae Hyun to name his closest friends. And he isn’t arrogant and boastful…People who know him actually say the opposite and say that he’s really humble. Anyways, he isn’t with Song Hye Gyo..those rumors were from 2004! He’s currently single. Megan Fox is interested in Rain and she asked him on a dinner date through his management company, but he rejected.

choi ji woo is very tall with heels almost SSH height. advantage being tall & slim for modelling as well. she was very pretty when young, saw her in First Love with BYJ.

That’s an interesting list of stars to come in on the first wave of this opening of the showcase. Wonder why them and not others? Do the organizers have certain criteria and trying to appeal to only certain age group? Granted certain someone with the shroom hair is rightfully present
These select group people were in Lotte’s advertising campaign. There are other stars that were in the camapaign but weren’t selected, for example Shin Min Ah; however since this is Lotte’s Star Avenue, they have every right to put whomever they wished to represent them. To that end, Rain, SSH, PYH, DBSK, CJW, KJH, JiSung, BigBang and others that are in the Star Avenue’s Star Showcase are very fortunate to have been selected. The recent success of the drama ‘East of Eden’ was also added to be in Drama Star section of Star Avenue amongst other great dramas like ‘Jewel in the Palace’ and ‘Jumong’.
Lotte’s is very much involved in South Korea’s “Visit South Korea Campaign 2010-2012″ event. Lotte World Star Avenue is designed to be one of many South Korea’s International tourist destinations with Lotte’s 5 Star hotels and accomodations.
