Of course, you only bring the best and the biggest to the Tokyo Dome.
As TVXQ’s last stop for their fourth live tour on July 4th and 5th, the “Rising Gods of the East” are going to perform at the famed Tokyo Dome as the first Korean group to do so. Apparently, Rain was the first Korean artist to perform at the Tokyo Dome in 2007, but he failed to draw a crowd big enough to fill the whole stadium. I don’t foresee that sort of problem for TVXQ though. They are going to receive a packed house if anything.
The Tokyo Dome boasts a 55,000 seating capacity, and is about four times bigger than the largest stadium in Korea. Top Japanese artists, such as SMAP, KAT-TUN, KinKi Kids, and X-JAPAN, as well as many world stars, including Madonna, Bon Jovi, and The Rolling Stones, have all graced the Tokyo Dome in the past.
The boys are flourishing in Japan. All we can do from Korea is watch from afar and go “Atta boys!” as we wait patiently for their return to the motherland. When is that going to happen? *shrugs*

first. GO DBSK<3
Yay! go DBSK, they will fill up every single seat in that stadium and still have fans wanting to get in. much love for dbsk. <3 i hope the concert is a big success and everything goes on without trouble.
DBSK has worked so hard over these past few years. I’m glad that they are doing so well in Japan.
i kno so happpy!!! now only if they could do just as well in korea! but DBSK oppas hwaiting!
lol, i think thats kind of an understatement.
They have already owned Korea, so they’re just moving on to Japan now.
I agree. They have garnered the attention of all Korean fans already – now they’re trying to be the next big thing in Japan too.
Are you insane????
The 4th korean album of DBSK sold over 500,000 copies in 3 MONTHS in 2008.
The last time that someone sold that much was in 2003.
I cant wait to see the videos. They’re going to rock!
Haa, of course filling 55,000 seats won’t be a problem for the boys. If anything, I’m sure that they would easily be able to fill anything more than that.
i heard somewhere the tickets were sold out in half an hour and there are still A LOT of people want to attend LOL
well,kat-tun’s sold out after a few minutes but still, THSK’s fever is just starting. japan, get ready for more !!! xD
i wish they’ll do a korean comeback later this year, though =D
not only sold out… tickets are being
auctioned to the highest bidder……..
There;s going to be a live telecast on both days of their concert on TBS too
This is certainly proof that the group has become one of the top stars in Japan. GO DBSK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TVXQ IS THE STAR OF ASIA!!!
I LOVE THEM SOOOO DAMN MUCH!!
WISH THEM ALL OF LUCKS ^_______^
GO,GO,GO DBSK!!
yunho! fighting!
DBSK totally deserves it. they’re amazing.
Wow~DBSK FIGHTING!
Wish I can see Yunho in person…
Its too impossible…
YUNHO SARANGHAE<3
Good for them…
do you have to compare Rain with DBSK? can’t you see that Rain is not in a group? you can say that DBSK can fill up Tokyo Dome because they are composed of 5 members! stupid…
by the way, why didn’t you mention Arashi?? they’re so big in Japan right now >:(
being a group or not have NOTHING to do with success, okay ?
and the fact that rain can’t fill up the whole stadium is TRUE and there’s nothing wrong about that. rain IS still one of the biggest stars in asia.
arashi is always big in japan LOL they’ve been around for what, 10 years now ? and why would POPSEOUL mention arashi ? OMG you’re just being absurd, really…
i was thinking the same thing, but if ps didn’t mention that dRain was a solo act, you’ll have a bunch of his crazies in here saying, “hey, dRain was the first korean to play the dome!” then there would be the endless debate on who was better. dRain or THSK. of course, we all know that THSK pwns dRain anyday!
DBSK!! :] Good JOB!
cool.!~dbsk can really rock iit.!~
yoochun!~<3
filling the Tokyo Dome would be no problem for the boys!
AJA!
yeah TVXQ hwaiting! they deserve it. with talent, looks, dancing skills and everything, who can resist them? yeah heard the tickets were sold out fast. i mean they are koreans and yet they are big in japan. thats cool. yeah cant wait for dome! all the best to them. i love “Rising Gods of the East” <3
way to go DBSK!!! i have no doubts about their talents! hard work and perseverance paid off! wish i were there to watch that awesome japanese concert. their Mirotic tour is quite a show to behold too!
hiiiiiiiiiiii
this http://www.star-vip.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=46
<3 DBSK!
Good luck!
Hwaiting!
How can you say Rain failed to draw crowd. There are more than 45,000 people watched Rain concert in 2007. Is 45,000 is not enough? Remember he’s a solo artist.
absolutely DBSK fever… i think its even bigger than the H1N1 flu thingy….
DBSK is soooo AWESOME!!!
break those 55000 legs boys…
TVfXQ is LOVEEEEEE
GO GO GO!
Rain is flat … not attractive in any way at all.
Seriously..55,000 is no problem for the boys. go DBSK <3
go dbsk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
i can see sm milking dbsk out in japan for years and have them mainly stay there since it is a bigger music scene like they did w/ boa. i like their japanese songs better anyways.
Dear POPSEOUL,
TVXQ Tokyo Dome’s tickets sold out for 30 minutes according to their Official site.
Weather their tickets has been sold out within 30 seconds or 30 minutes doesn’t really matter. Just the fact they are performing at Tokyo Dome is significant enough.
Selling 200k albums? Charted as top 10 seller of 2008? Can’t have a problem filling in the dome.
Hey, they are doing something remarkable for themselves, and also for Korea by giving a positive influence of Korea’s image in Japan.
I say let the boys keep working, and don’t be impatient about returning to Korea. What they’re doing in Japan is something much more meaningful than just pleasing fans – they’re making a social and historical change of how Korea is perceived in another country.
oooh, so sweet and very true.
they didn’t lost their identity
being koreans. korea’s no. 1
exporter is dbsk.
you should add Ayumi Hamasaki!!! Ayu was there~
and so lots of Johnny’s boy bands.
^

I believe that Popseoul just want to give the examples of the artists who have been performed at the Tokyo Dome so the readers get the idea, not the full list.
exactly. What is up with these people bashing popseoul for not mentioning every artist who performed there?
Uh huh, so true. I third this statement. You guys actually expect Popseoul to dig up every single artists? That isn’t the main point of the artiel. If you are calling out on that, you already failed as a reader and fan of DBSK.
FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TVXQ/DBSK/THSK I couldn’t be bothered with either 3 abbreviations. 5 og you will bring the house down!!!! WoooooooHOOOOOOOOO~
Thats so awesome! ;_; I already knew about it but…how I wish I could be there. I’ll think of them while I watch fireworks this weekend
I love them <3
i used to like mickey
but i think yunho is purtyyy hot now ;D
gluck !
They’ll do great! They always do.
if they are smart they will stay in japan a bit longer
I’m happy for them. They’re probably the only boyband I like and respect. They worked their asses off in Japan to reach that stage and didn’t just ride on the Korean Wave.
Two days at Tokyo Dome, meaning a crowd of about 100,000?
It’s going to be an emotional one for them.
` micky go cut your hair!
Go TVXQ (DBSK) definately the best!
They probably… no, the definately… did the best! They are always the greatest and i truly respect this boyband!
DBSK HWAITING!!! GO BOYS GO!
hey popseoul werent you praising rain before in one of your articles for filling up tokyo dome?
this is what i dont like about you popseoul tsk tsk you fail this time, im sad
http://popseoul.com/2007/05/26/it-rained-in-tokyo/
BIG BANG >>>>>> dbsk
Oh really? well. Bigbang = DBSK
I love them both.
dont be so biased please.
YAY DBSK!! their dream is coming true!
FIGHTING FOR TOKYO DOME ~
its something they’ve achieved that made us fans proud, although Cassies in korea has to wait for their return ^^
The first Korean group, but they won’t sing Koreans apparently.
@noct-M
There’re 2 ways of drawing 55,000 people per day. One is through music that the audiences can communicate, and another is trough the hype of korean wave. Apparenly DBSK chooses the first choice.
I just want them to take care of themselves because they looked so tired in Bangkok.
@noct-M
What are you trying to say?
now its japan
whats next? XD maybe theyll want to debut in america :O
AHH U GOTTA LOVE THEM!!!
