Afterschool’s Uee in ‘Queen Seon-duk’

Uee, has been cast for the childhood role of the character, ‘Mi-sil’, played by actress Ko Hyun-jung. The production team for the drama, ‘Queen Seon-duk’, was in search of an actress with an innocent and intelligent image to play the younger ‘Mi-sil’ for the reminiscent scenes of ‘Mi-sil’ as a young adult. After searching high and low amongst a long list of rookie actresses, the production team ended up offering Uee the role.

Episodes 13 and 14, starring Uee, will air in Korea on July 6th and 7th.

        looks like you managed to contradict yourself again here. lol. Truly a hypocrite haha, and I agree with LK, if youw ant to say “first… second… fiftieth,” at least commment on the article along with your declaration of your um ‘victory’. I guess Uee’s image fits the cute look, though I’m not so sure about the intelligent part haha. I hope her acting skills are going to be up to par though.. I hate how Korean dramas/movies often cast people purely based on their looks and image value. And why is her name spelled Uee.. I feel like that the romanization is a bit weird. Why not Yui? Too Japanese sounding? lol
