Holy smokes! T-ara is a bunch of blonde-wigged clones!
For those of you who may have forgotten, T-ara is a new girl group from Mnet Media packing major vocal capabilities. Three years in the making, T-ara originally boasted five members, but then as they started getting exposure, members Ji-ae and Ji-won dropped out, citing differences in musical style. I’m going to take a stab and guess that Ji-ae and Ji-won had high expectations for the project, but upon realizing they were just going to be another girl group amongst a cluster of idol girl groups, they decided to ditch the joint.
Lee Bo-ram was added into the mix, and then the announcement came that Mnet was going to up the ante by bumping up the number of members to six. The two additional members revealed go by the names of So-yeon and Q-ri (even though it’s early in the game, I’m just going to nickname her KIWI for my sake).
Finally, T-ara’s debut is right around the corner and all the faces of the members have been unveiled. Rather than their previous innocent fresh image with “Good Person“, this bare shouldered and blonde afro style exudes a more soft and feminine image. Although I could complain that they all look the same, having them all wear the same wig and sans clothes is a smart way to force people to actually find distinctions between each face of the girls, and let me tell you it’s hard. I give up right away.

As a matter of fact, are they really all that light? They seem to look like the same shade.
A little individuality goes a long way.
Unless their making fun of culture, spec. Asian/Korean, and the “we have to look alike and light” mentality that *some* have…I’m not really getting it.
Al thes ephotos did were confuse me. I hope thier good though, but they need to take the wigs off and sport their natural hair colors.

wow, if you told me they were all the same person I’d have believed you. I know asians like to be white, but this looks really…urgh… those wigs would make great mops or dusters.
