Without the dark makeup and flashy clothes, the girls of 2NE1 are your everyday plain janes. Really. If you saw them on the street, you definitely wouldn’t give them a second thought. In fact, the girls look the girls working the counters at Mc D’s. Nothing special.
So what’s the big deal? These makeup-less faces of girls were supposedly “leaked” to the public. And YG Entertainment is looking into how the pictures were released.
Now 2NE1’s newest single, “I don’t care” has already hit #1 on the online charts. How appropriate.

One reason as to why I like 2NE1 is that I feel each member is individualistic and have their own unique look/appearance. In other words, they don’t look like clones of each other as some of the other girl groups do. Sure, they’re not “perfect”, but they are definitely talented, which I’d take any day. There are plenty of good looking girls out there that can’t do half the stuff that 2NE1 can.

i still love 2ne1. so yeah, they dont look as good without makeup, hairstyling, and clothes, but what does that matter. i think image is overrated. these photos were just taken at a bad angle, lighting, and im sure that even w/o makeup they would look better than these pictures in real life. i feel bad that these photos were leaked and the girls now have to go through all that criticism, but it comes with fame.

they took those pics becuase this is what they give their stylists and make up artists, etc. to see which style matches the girls best.

I don’t care is number 1 in almost all the music charts . Plus Dara is number three on who they want to share umbrella with. Fire is number 2 or 1 in Myx Philippines. So yeah.. I don’t think this affect them much.
