Without the dark makeup and flashy clothes, the girls of 2NE1 are your everyday plain janes. Really. If you saw them on the street, you definitely wouldn’t give them a second thought. In fact, the girls look the girls working the counters at Mc D’s. Nothing special.
So what’s the big deal? These makeup-less faces of girls were supposedly “leaked” to the public. And YG Entertainment is looking into how the pictures were released.
Now 2NE1’s newest single, “I don’t care” has already hit #1 on the online charts. How appropriate.
They look fine. I think it’s cool seeing them without makeup. It makes them seem more “real”. CL is great just for her attitude alone.
Agree. I think by critizing “famous” people for not looking less than amazing you’re setting the standard higher for yourself (so you better look like a model or God’s gift to man). It kind of makes everyone more shallow, which I think is a problem now. They look fine, just obviously not at their best. Although CL looks a bit different to me (but if you looked at her in 2NE1TV clsoely she looks the same, just with more eye makeup).
The bad lighting, messy hair, tired eyes, and the fact that they aren’t posing might have something to do with how crappy the pics look. They trully look like mugshots.

Don’t know who these girls are, but the two on the left look alright even for a “bad hair day”/no make-up.
Anyway, it’s really no big surprise that celebs look better after some primping by professional make-up artists, not to mention proper lighting, etc.
A lot of the Hollywood stars look remarkedly average in real life.
They look so bad cause their usual makeup is so over the top! Doesn’t change the way I think about them though!

it also proves what make up can do.. so guys.. dont take a girl home, just because she looks good on the dancefloor.. that doesnt mean she is all that beautiful.. you might get disappointed the very next morning!! ^^ hahah

the 2 girls on the left actually look ok without make-up though. the one at the bottom right looks not much different from when she has her make-up on. only the upper one looks seriously……………not attractive

This just goes to show that makeup does wonders. Park Bom actually looks pretty cute without her makeup. In fact, I kind of think she looks better. I like the natural look. She just needs to tidy up her hair a little bit.

Oh, be nice, they don’t look THAT much like mug shots. Sure, the public eye does view them as prettier with makeup on, but no one wakes up looking perfect. Besides, if celebrities woke up “picture perfect” that would defeat the whole purpose of having make up artists, style coordinators, etc. Respect them for working as hard as they do.
