T-ara has released yet another set of concept photos, and this time around they are donning a homely 1960s bowl cut look. I suppose now they are trying to prove that they can look pretty, even when forced to wear dated clothes, a child’s bowl cut, and pasty orange powder on their face. How many more photos are we going to get? If Mnet Media wants attention for these girls, they are definitely getting it. My hope in their potential, however, has waned with every photo installment.
So far, all they are giving us is image. While there are a lot of lovely pictures and concepts, where’s the substance? This isn’t teasing or testing the curiosity anymore, it’s boring me.
Side note: Is it just me or does Ji-yeon look like SHINee’s Tae-min in her individual shot?

You can’t tell them apart because you’re not paying close attention, and they are made to look the same, with the same hair and all. They’ll release their first song in about a week, so if you want to hear them sing until then, listen to Good Person (EunJung, JiYeon, HyoMin), Boram’s Memory minialbum and So Hyon’s 2005 first place song that’s on youtube. Qri has nothing online that showcases her voice yet.
