Episode 21 of “Shining Inheritance” (찬란한 유산) features a kiss scene between Lee Seung-ki and Han Hyo-joo. The kiss should have brought on fireworks, but it fizzled. And honestly, after walking around for about 8 minutes, it took too long for them to finally do the deed. But hey, I guess the kiss wouldn’t be so bad to hear “I want to have you” and lock lips with Lee Seung-ki (who’s looking mighty fine in that shirt).
However, the kiss on the SBS drama quickly climbed up the ratings to the number 1 watched drama in Korea with a 40% viewership.

While by all accounts LSK is a nice guy, he is a bit of a dork, so yeah, HHJ is a bit out of his league.

It’s cute. But who kisses like that? They always just basically put their lips together (and hold…) in most of the K-dramas which is not my idea of kissing. Movement, movement!

i agree…it’s just locked lips and no feelings…how can that be a kiss?…not realistic at all…jo ji hoon and yoon eun hye, goong yo and yoon eun hye…are still the best kissers in any korean dramas…they really know how to kiss…not just touch lips…a kiss should convey feelings…passion with elegance and sweetness…
I agree! They should take pointers about REAL kissing from Goong and Coffee Prince cause this kiss totally sucks. I dont consider this good acting either, cause real actors and actress should be able to abandon themselves in any role without any shame. They were not able to portray how a real kiss should be which mean, their acting is not yet that good.

Yes, it’s true. And it was disrespectful for them to throw that stupid crap in there when it didn’t even fit with anything. But other than that one little thing, the drama overall was very good.

what can i say. this drama is so successful because of their chemistry. both btween Eun Sung with Hwan and Eun Sung with Sun Je.
That was terrible. The acting was subpar and the girl seemed very conscious of the camera. I was kind of hoping the bridge would snap and drop their characters to their doom.
And what is up with that dude’s deathgrip on the girl’s wrist? If I was a girl and a guy grabbed me like that I would be frightened.

they went through 20 episodes without any interactions much and this is all they give us!! garhhh, the chemistry is not good enough for me -_-
This was such a pivotal point in the episode and even though I love both characters, for me the kiss looked even more awkward due to Seungi’s shoulders. They were way too tense (which would have made sense as they were enemies initially), but never relaxed. Ep. 22 opens with a prolonged version of the kiss. Still, this is the best drama of the year so far, IMO.

It sure is. for a hot kiss 1st there has to be a build up of emotions. When you watch it you kind of stop breathing for a few sec’. This one was more like lips touching and freeze.
